Before Jasmine hung up the phone, I could still hear Won going frantic from the other side of the line. Just like that. She hung up on him just like that without even explaining herself.

“Are you done...?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.

Jasmine nodded, heaving a heavy sigh.

“What did you say to him?”

“I said…I-I didn’t think we could make it out,” she wiped the fake tears on her face. “I said I’m not yet ready to marry him and that I need space.” Then she smiled. “He was too good and too nice for me…You know… I like someone who is gentlemanly bad. A bad, bad boy. Like you.”
