A Burden of Courage    

The enemy general snarled, angered by the sudden interference. He swung his blade in a vicious arc, aiming to cleave the dragon in two.

But the clockwork dragon was too fast, weaving through the air with a speed that belied its size. It dodged the blow with ease and retaliated with a powerful blast of energy from its maw, striking the enemy general squarely in the chest and sending him crashing into the stone wall with a thunderous impact.

"We need to go to the control room," #4 said urgently. "The dragon can only fight for a short time in this mode."

Varlox grunted. "I will create a path." He forced himself to stand and confront the enemies.

The remaining Ebizo soldiers rallied behind Varlox, their spirits lifted by the sudden turn of events. The dragon, now fully engaged with the enemy general, fought with relentless ferocity, its attacks becoming more precise and devastating with each passing moment.
