"To me, my X-Men" Scott Summers Aka Cyclops said.
Behind him were some of the mist powerful people alive, and he was their leader.
Jean grey floated, wearing her green uniform and a new cloak.
Ororo Monroe floated as sparks of lightning emitted from her glowing eyes.
Bobby Drake was standing on a floating piece of ice that was not melting in the sweltering heat.
And Cyclops stood on a telekinetic platform with his hands on his visor ready to fire at the mutant if he shows signs of aggression.
With someone like Tomura, hesitation is death.

The Avengers were in a similar formation, everyone above the ground except Pietro who was mainly a rescue hero right now.
Pietro is usually confident getting up and close and personal with anyone and everything.
With Toruma he didn't have that luxury.

The Ancient One watched the boy, she already knew what was going to happen this day.

Jean watched as the container holding the mutant suddenly turned to ash, she made sure to keep her mind away from his.
Afterall Xavier had just warned her that his mind was currently a no go zone.
She watched as Tomura stood, his chest and arms were heavily scarred, his hair blew in the wind and he was looking up at the sky with a small smile on his face.
He turned in a circle and observed all the hero's surrounding him with a smile, he looked excited.
Until his eyes met with her ones.
Tomura started to pant and groan as he seemed to wrestle with his mind, seconds later it was clear some part of him had won.
"PHOENIXXXX!!!" The scream rang through the battlefield with chilling intensity.
Before she had realised it his fist had punched into her face before she could move, her body was sent flying for miles as she reinforced her body with telekinetic energy.
She looked down at her hands.
They were shaking.
She could have just been killed if it wasn't for the last second telekinetic reinforcement, or if he had just decayed her.
She looked up and her eyes widened, he…he was flying towards her.
Crossing hundreds of meters in less than a second he suddenly planted his fist into her stomach.
She felt ribs crack even as she used her telekinesis to try and block the punch, then she watched as his open palm came down towards her telekinetically reinforced face.
She closed her eyes.
She was about to get decayed, by Tomura.
But she was just slapped into the ground below with a resounding crash that shook the earth beneath them.
"PHOENIX YOUR VESSEL IS PATHETIC!"
A large spike of ice was about to pierce Tomura until he turned around and turned the ice to ash with decay.
Iceman jumped from the ice before he could be decayed and then made a sudden pillar of ice from the ground below that dwarfed the tallest skyscrapers on earth and sent Tomura flying into the sky.
Vision caught the flying body by the ankle and used all of its formidable strength to throw it back towards the earth below.
Tomura landed with a crash reminiscent of a bomb, but before he could recover Storm rained down lightning onto the teenager.
The lightning melted the very ground beneath Tomura, but not him.
He shot out of the hole like a bullet and suddenly his hand was inches away from storms ankle until he was suddenly interrupted as a portal opened in his flight path and sent him flying into the beam of Cyclops.
Jeans telekinetically held Tomuras body in the beam of dimensional energy.
But the telekinesis didn't hold, Torumas strength broke the hold and he jumped not towards Cyclops as most expected but instead Wanda.
He was only inches away from decaying her surprised pretty face when another portal opened and he couldn't stop his momentum as he flew into the approaching Visions fist.
Tomura snarled and looked towards the magician in annoyance.
He would have to deal with her.
He appeared behind the ancient one only for Iron mans arc reactor beam to hit him from an open portal to his right.
Then Wanda suddenly used her magic to try and bind him fo the floor.
Toruma fell to floor with a groan as chains as thick as his arms wrapped around his body, binding him to the earth below.
"CHTHON!" Torumas body screamed as the magic held him down "WITCH RELEASE ME!" He screamed in rage.
But then something happened even the Ancient One didn't see occurring.
Tomuras palm landed on the magical binds and decayed them.
The Ancient Ones eyes widened, in surprise, fear and excitement.
She didn't see that happen before!
She thought this was when the fighting stopped.
She was wrong.
Tomura dashed towards the sorcerer and threw a punch at the woman who had already dodged it before he threw it, and again and again.
The Ancient One was blocking some hits with a reinforced magical shield but dodged most.
All though she hasn't since this exact moment of the fight, she had watched thousands of alternates of this fight occur.
She knew more about Tomuras fighting style than even he did.
She knew his feints, his punches, his unexpected palm strikes and sudden use of decay.
She knew everything.
So when Jean Grey suddenly pulled Tomuras leg so that he fell, instead of pursuing the attack she jumped back.
Because she knew the X-Men's attack patterns.
So she wasn't surprised when a Titantic sized iceberg was thrown down onto Tomuras body.
She also wasn't surprised when Cyclops used his dimensional energy eyes to destroy the ice and allow Storm to throw down lightning bolts that would kill a hundred men fifty times over.
Not Tomura though.
He stood under the onslaught of lightning and met The Ancient Ones eyes with his own vivid red ones.
"ENOUGH" he screamed at the ancient sorcerer, he was done with this. "THIS IS OVER!"
The Ancient One agreed, "This is over" she said as she opened the mirror dimension.
The glass wall that would swallow the terrain and then let her change it as she willed flew towards the Avatar.
The Ancient One was just waiting for him to be swallowed up by the wall…when it stopped.
Her eyes widened.
No, this…this wasn't possible.
The mirror dimension cracked and decayed then fell apart into ash.
When the ash blew away in the wind and revealed the form of Toruma standing with his palm outstretched having just decayed an opening in space and time.
This was the power of Tomura Shigaraki
