A mega school

"Why is the cost of constructing this school so expensive? Wait! What is a sewage plant?" Alexandre was very much confused. To Alexandre, where the students were learning from was already extravagant because they were being given free education and therefore, they should not be given much but Virtya was planning to spent almost 4 million gold coins in the construction of the school which Alexandre thought that it was wholly unneeded and a waste of money.

But to Virtya, he wanted a big school whose name would run all over the world as the best school in the world and every student worldwide would be dreaming and wishing that they would one day come to Azuhai and study in this school.

This school would be big and almost modern because the only main thing that would be missing in this school would be missing in this school would be the electricity and the electronic devices but other things like books and pens would be there as Virtya planed to make pens and handmade paper. In summary, this school would be like Yale or Havard of the US.

"Well, a sewage plant is basically a structure for treating sewage. I wanna create modern lavatories which would be a luxury unlike the toilets and the bathrooms that we have here in the palace. The students would have to flush their poop which would be taken to the sewage plant for treatment before it could be released to the river. Basically, these modern lavatories could not function without water and that is why the school will have its own water treatment plant. I would have liked to build a sewage system and the water treatment plant that could serve the entirety of Whiddiff city but I don't have that much money to begin with and therefore, the sewage plant and the water treatment plant in the school would be used by the school only. Even Whiddiff palace will not have the obligation to use it. This will be a trial for these structures to see the reaction of the students and how they would use these new facilities so that in the future when I have money, I will construct a sewage plant for the entire Whiddiff city." Clearly, Virtya had good plans for the geniuses but even if the school would be so big in that it could take in close to 20, 000 students, joining this school would not be that easy, one would have to be a genius to join this school and the school was not just opened to the denizens of Azuhai alone, no.

This school was also opened to the foreigners because Virtya wanted all the geniuses for himself. He would have to convince or allow these students from the foreign kingdoms to become the denizens of Azuhai, only if they were geniuses and Virtya needed them that much.

"I will wait to see this school for myself." Alexandre said before he moved on.

On the fifth paper, he saw the design of the military and police training ground. This project would cost 700, 000 gold coins and Alexandre was ones again confused because he didn't knew what the the word police and the military meant.

"Take it like this. I plan to abolish this knighthood thing and in its place, the police and the military will take charge. However, the difference is that the training of these military men would be five fold if not ten fold harder as compared to the knighthood training and that is the reason why I need this police and the military training ground." Virtya said with a laid-back voice. He took a drag and reclined on his chair.

Clearly, Virtya was planning to take the powers of the dukes whereby in the past, the dukes were allowed to have their own forces but with the coming of the armed military soldiers, Virtya would not need the help of the dukes in the war but he will have to take their power from them. 

Virtya knew that there would be some dukes who would not take this lightly like the Duke of Lithao but he didn't care because ones the guns were ready, Virtya would be unstoppable and no one in this world would threaten him.

Virtya would use this built training ground to group the knights into police and the military. The training ground would have levels which would decide who would become the police and who would become a mere soldier or a commander of the military.

Moreover, there were other expenditures like the overhaul of Whiddiff palace and the blacksmithing guild because even if Virtya wanted so much to build a new palace for himself, he didn't have the money to do that and he could only focus on the most fundamental matters.

It was going to take only a month to construct structures like the working station, furnaces, public square and the market, palace and the blacksmithing guild repairs and the police and the military training ground. Virtya expect that by the end of October, all these structures would be ready before the onset of winter.

It was only the construction of the mega school which would take six months because it was a big project that could not be rushed.

"Buddy, I think all these are incredible architectures. I wonderful. I am just wondering where you got the knowledge of building something like a sewage plant. Are you a genius or I am just a dimwit who doesn't know a thing?" Alexandre asked after perusing through the papers.

Virtya leaned forward and stared at Alexander, he took a puff and breathed out and said,

"I think you are right..." Virtya wanted to continue the conversation but just at that moment, Tanya walked in with Osip.

"I really miss your scent but thanks, you are right here. You can take a peek at the designs and then after that, give them to Osip so that he could make sure that these structures are erected on time and as for the money for this projects, Eugene will sought out that issue."
