Remaking the turbine (1

"It is the best long ranged weapon that I have seen so far. However, if an enemy is close to you, the cannon would be useless since it takes time to load and it is helpless against the enemies who are just a metre beside you. However, this is big milestone achievement." Tanya said with an expressionless face. Even if they had the cannon, this weapon would just make the war to turn on their favor but it didn't mean that it could enable them to win the war since the cannon was not versatile.

"Don't worry Tanya. I have everything under control. We have Guarin. His next mission would be about making something called the guns. These weapons would cover the flaw of the cannons and ensure that we win every war brought upon our doors."

After the successful trial, Virtya ordered for the already made cannons to be ferried to his palace under heavy security. Nevertheless, he didn't follow them to his palace as he remained behind because there was something that he had yet to finish. He had just arrived at the blacksmithing guild this morning and inspecting the cannons was simply his side mission

Virtya's main mission was to fabricate the 30 metres long turbine for the cement factory and right now, the blacksmithing guild was still molding the components of the turbine.

Actually, Virtya had gone back to buying the expensive iron ingots from the Litkesh kingdom because it was the nearest market while Ugley market was far. Furthermore, Ugley iron market was unreliable since they had more customers for iron but they didn't have the technology to ensure a continuous and maximum exploitation of the iron ore and that was why Virtya was planning to make a deal with the Ugley kingdom, so that they could allow him to mine the iron ore from their mines using his reliable technology that will ensure the continued and maximum exploitation.

But before Virtya could remake the turbine, he wrote a letter to the royal palace of Ugley.

In the letter, Virtya explained his diplomatic aim of wanting to enhance his relationship with the kingdom of Ugley. He went ahead and said that he could ensure that the iron ore and other minerals from Ugley are exploited maximumly while telling them how they would share this wealth.

Of course, there was a room for discussion to meet a desirable share because Virtya was only venturing into Ugley not as a royalty of Azuhai but as a merchant looking for resources. In exchange, Virtya had promised Ugley many many gifts including putting up a cement plant and a glass manufacturing plant in Ugley.

Finally, Virtya urged the king of Ugley to visit Azuhai kingdom before the 24th of December. There would be a celebration on the 24th of December where the king of Ugley would find a chance to see what Azuhai had to offer them. The king of Ugley would also be given a chance to see the newly made weapons of Azuhai, this was to show Ugley that if they accepted to be friends with Azuhai, then Azuhai could protect them if they were invaded, but if Ugley refused to side with them, then Azuhai would not hesitate to help other kingdoms to invade Ugley.

Anyway, on this day, Virtya was going to remake the turbine and because there were already some components which had already been made, Virtya didn't chose to lazy around, he walked to the protected chamber where the components were assembled and then he started his work.

Here, Virtya was accompanied by 50 blacksmiths, his knights, Tanya and Alexandre.

The first thing that Virtya did was to inspect the components that would build this turbine.

The protected chamber had its own storage rooms for keeping these components and Virtya first walked to the first room.

He opened the door and found that this storage room was keeping the round steel bars.

These round steel bars were 10 metres long each and Virtya would need five of them to make a complete 30 metres long turbine. Of course, the protected chamber was big enough to keep the long round steel bars. All the needed five round steel were here which made Virtya to nod his head.

"You have done a good job Nataschenka." Virtya told the blacksmithing guild master. Alexandre could not utter a word since he didn't knew anything about blacksmithing, at least he knew a few stuffs about carpentry and masonry.
