The God Of Combat?

I didn't know what the God of Combat would require but I hoped it wasn't something too crazy or I might not be able to handle it.

[[Task available!!!]]

[[The God of Combat wishes for you to land a hit on your trainer!]]

This was an impossible task because if it was something I could do, I would have done so too but this lady was good but that was to be expected from such a trainer.

"Are you ready?" Vicky questioned me and I knew I had to provide an answer even though my body already had enough.

I just wanted to return home and crawl into bed but I had a task that I had to complete, I was ready to launch my counter attack.

I charged at her and I could tell from her facial expression that she was surprised by this, she didn't expect me to take charge.

But she didn't put her guard up, she either underestimated me or she knew that I didn't have the capabilities to hurt, this could work in my favor.

"Your footwork is all wrong…" Vicky said the moment I threw a punch at her, she sidestepped.

I was still yet to recover from the recoil of the punch that left me completely open.

All she did was tap my shoulder, prompting me to be alert of the threat that she possessed.

She could have easily finished me off but she didn't because this was a training session.

"This is strange, your file said you were a far better fighter…" Vicky noted as she realized that I wasn't an impressive boxer to begin with.

Who could blame her? I was someone that couldn't even keep their guard up.

If only I could hit her once and have the God of Combat teach me how to fight, everything would be solved.

"I'm going easy on you, i cannot bring myself to hit a woman," I quickly said to save face but Vicky didn't seem to be buying it even though she didn't say it, her face betrayed her.

I knew I had to use a dirty method to get that hit in, it never told me the hit had to be a clean one so what if I just kicked her?

A move prohibited by boxing but why could she do anything except scold me?

She was being paid big money and I doubt she had many clients for her to fly all the way to South Korea to personally handle my teaching.

I took a deep breath and emptied my thoughts, I would let my body do the talking and stop thinking about my every move.

I would just let my body do what it was meant to do and the look in my eyes changed, I was going to take this fight seriously.

Vicky could tell because she finally put her hands up to guard herself, I couldn't believe that this was my situation but it was better than what I had been handed out by life in my last life.

My mind was accustomed to pain, it was something I knew too well and there was only one way to land a clean hit.

Something told me the God of Combat wouldn't appreciate cheap tricks so I had to appease him in the most nobel way to show him I was worthy of his teachings.

I attempted to land a blow at her midsection but she instantly took a step back before throwing two quick jabs towards my face but I didn't try to blow it with both my hands.

This was the disadvantage of using her hands to fight, they could be blocked with a single glove and that was exactly what I did.

But then her blow went around my glove, aiming for the side of my head but this blow was too obvious and such, easy to dodge.

I ducked down in time and her lower body was completely vulnerable, her stance made it almost impossible for her to dodge what was to come but this wasn't no ragtag fighter.

She was a trained boxer and I knew I had to take this chance as I rose like a phoenix, attempting an upper cut but this was only to get her to block it and she did just that.

Negating the fact that this was a simultaneous attack as my other hand had moved to land a hit on her torso but she was too focused in blocking the uppercut that she negated this.

And there it was, a blow landed right on her ripped abs but it didn't even generate any force.

But I didn't need to and this was why this move wasn't advisable in combat because it dealt no damage.

"I di-!" Before I could complete my sentence, everything went black as I hit the floor with a thud and the last thing I remember was a message from the God of Combat.

[[Congratulations! You have completed a task!]]

I passed out soon after and I just knew this bitch must have knocked me the fuck out the moment I touched her.

"Oops, I got carried…" Vikcy muttered to herself, clearly flustered but this was one of the many reasons she didn't have much clients however, the blow wasn't the problem but s he knew to target vulnerable places on the body were a light punch was enough to stun a person without causing any injuries.
