"Knight Bus?"
Hermione looked curious, "Are there buses in the wizarding world too? I thought wizards travelled either on flying brooms or used fireplaces."
Andy exhaled, "There are trains in the wizarding world!"
"That's true too!" Hermione stuck out her tongue.
As the two were chatting, Cho Chang suddenly walked over, "Hi! Andy, Hermione. I plan to travel back to China this summer and see the wizarding world there. Do you guys... have anything you need me to bring?"
"Really!?" Andy was filled with surprise.
After hedging Cho Chang for nearly three months, she finally became interested in the Chinese magical world. As long as she made a trip back to China, Andy would be able to learn about the situation of the Chinese magic world.
"Of course it's true!" Cho Chang gave Andy a blank look.
"Great, just return with some books for me."
Andy said, while pulling out the gold galleons from his pocket, "There's only this much available at hand. I'll write a letter to my family in a while and ask them to send some more money over."
Speaking of which, Andy's entire worth was only seven gold galleons and thirteen sickles. He didn't know what the prices in the Chinese magic world would be.
This year is 1992, and the prices in China's muggle world won't be high, so prices in the magic world shouldn't be too high either...right?
"I'll buy some books as well. Thanks, Cho."
Hermione similarly took out her allowance, and Andy glanced at it, the little witch actually had twelve gold galleons saved up, more than even he did.
What a little rich girl!
Hermione raised her chin and said in a somewhat cocky tone, "If it wasn't for the Gringotts having an exchange quota, my dad would have tried to exchange for ten thousand gold galleons."
Andy: "..."
Andy then realized that Hermione's parents were both dentists, they also owned a private clinic in London, although their family's wealth couldn't be compared to the capitalists, it was considered upper middle class.
The exchange ratio of Gringotts was: one galleon for five pounds.
If Hermione's family has a million pounds in savings, it's the equivalent of owning two hundred thousand gold Galleons.
Andy: Rich girl, I don't want to work hard!
That is, the Gringotts have limited the exchange volume between pounds and gold Galleons, otherwise, with Hermione's family's wealth, even some pureblood families can't compare to them, right?
"Are you ... thinking of something bad?" Hermione looked at Andy suspiciously.
"No, no." Andy sheepishly and obediently sat down, lest Hermione saw the idea that he wanted to eat soft food.
"Okay..! I'll definitely help you guys bring a few more books if I can get them."
Cho Chang made a promise, "What type of books do you guys want?"
"Preferably magic books," Andy said.
Hermione glanced at Andy, "Me too."
Actually, Hermione just liked reading books and didn't particularly care about the type of book. But if she bought magic books, both she and Andy could read them.
Cho Chang nodded, then said with some trouble, "If you guys want to read books from the Chinese side, do you want me to find a wizard who understands Chinese to translate them for you."
"During the summer break, I will find someone to learn Chinese," Andy said.
Just kidding, my Chinese is pretty good!
"Alright then!"
Cho Chang put away Andy and Hermione's pocket money, and then said to Andy, "Before the break, feel free to come and find me anytime."
When Cho Chang left, Andy was quite excited.
The Chinese magic world, with Andy's identity in this life, he probably won't settle there.
However, Andy was indeed very curious about the situation over there.
In the ranking of international wizarding schools, there was no wizarding school from China. So Andy had always suspected that the inheritance was still passed down in the form of Sects over there in the Chinese magic world.
Sects and schools could only be said to have their own advantages and disadvantages.
And what Andy needed was just the magic knowledge over there, even if it was just the most basic magic concepts, it might be able to help Andy tremendously.
Next semester, Andy could be the young wizard who had learned from both the East and the West.
***
At the dinner before the break, Dumbledore said a whole lot of nonsense.
Near the farewell, Dumbledore looked a little sad. As he talked, he seemed to have emotionally touched on his own, took off his glasses and wiped the tears from the corners of his eyes.
Unlike Dumbledore, the young wizards of the four houses were elated.
Although the examination report card still has to be taken home and brought to the parents, compared to receiving a beating, it is obvious that the two months of summer holiday life is still more desirable to them.
On the professor's seat, Snape's face was grim, and his eyes were clearly tinged with impatience as he looked at Dumbledore.
In contrast to Snape, Professor Flitwick was full of smiles at the moment, and his entire being radiated a sunny flavour.
In order to celebrate Ravenclaw House's winning of the House Cup, the decorations of the great hall were decorated with the blue and bronze colours that represented Ravenclaw.
A huge banner of a giant eagle was also painted on the wall behind the professor's seat.
"Professor McGonagall doesn't seem too happy." Hermione suddenly whispered.
Andy smiled and glanced at Professor McGonagall, "Today's dinner may be a public execution for Professor McGonagall!"
Sure enough, by the time Dumbledore announced the house points of each house, Professor McGonagall's face was too aghast to look at.
"Fourth place goes to Gryffindor, two hundred and twenty-three points ..."
Andy: Sure enough, it was a public execution!
That's just too bad!
Ravenclaw had gained a total of five hundred and sixteen points this academic year, and as long as Dumbledore didn't give Gryffindor inexplicable extra points, Ravenclaw would get the House Cup without any more suspense.
In fact, if you think about it, Dumbledore seems to have no reason to give Gryffindor extra points.
After all, Harry didn't show any outstanding performance other than catching the Golden Snitch a few times this academic year, on the contrary, he made Gryffindor get a lot of points deducted because of the night tour.
In fact, Andy could understand why Dumbledore in the film suddenly gave Harry extra points.
It was nothing more than to build up Harry's momentum.
If one wants to fight against Voldemort, it is impractical to solely rely on Harry alone. Furthermore, Harry, as the 'saviour' of the British magical world, was tantamount to a spiritual belief in the fight against Voldemort.
Only by allowing Harry to gain great popularity could the British magic community be united to fight against Voldemort.
It's just a pity that Dumbledore's scheming this year completely fell through.
Andy did not think that he had ruined Dumbledore's plan. Although Andy made a certain impact on the plot, the key factor that really made Dumbledore's plan fail - was Hermione joining Ravenclaw.
The Saviour team without Hermione is really somewhat handicapped.
They don't even know how to cast an Unlocking Charm.
Walking on poisonous mushrooms.
Well, I guess, Dumbledore probably failed to think of that when he made his plan.
Andy glanced at Harry and Ron.
The current Saviour team can only be taught by hand.
What they lacked was knowledge, insight, and common sense.
It wasn't something that could be made up by studying alone.
