Chapter 45

The atmosphere is tense as law enforcement officers form a tight circle around the Lizard. Despite knowing they can't stop him, they stand resolute, ready to fulfill their duty. George steps forward with a megaphone, speaking steadily, attempting to establish a line of communication with the formidable Lizard.

"You are surrounded! Surrender, or we will open fire! This is your last warning!"

The Lizard only smirks and laughs. "HAHAHA, why stop me? I can lead humanity to a brighter future. If you are going to get in my way… Then, you all will have to be a necessary sacrifice. ROAR!"

The Lizard charges toward the encirclement, and George commands to open fire.

"FIRE!"

The police opened fire at the Lizard, but his thick skin protected him from the bullets. He tore through the encirclement, destroyed the blocking cars, and threw vehicles at the police choppers, causing them to crash.

The people nearby are running in fear of getting caught up in the mayhem. Vermin is also causing chaos, attacking officers and devouring them. They shoot at him, but Vermin is too agile, and they can't hit him. The Lizard jumps and lands on a group of cars on his back, piercing the vehicles with the spikes on his back. He then grabs them and throws the cars into the entrance of Oscorp.

*BOOM*

The entrance is destroyed, and the employees of Oscorp scream in fear as the Lizard walks in.

"ROAR"

The Lizard's attack did not injure George, and when he saw him getting into Oscorp, his priority was to evacuate the people inside.

"Get everyone inside Oscorp outside. Get the special forces to distract the Lizard."

Norman, in his office, witnessed everything that happened. He resented the lizard attacking his company but saw this as an opportunity. Observing the powerful lizard, he realized that capturing and studying it could greatly benefit his company, potentially surpassing Stark Industries. Additionally, it could help solve his problems. He was determined to capture it at all costs.

His assistant, Donald, came in with his private bodyguards. "We must have you evacuate, sir. The creature is almost here."

"Very well, I want that creature captured. Don't let anyone else get it."

Norman and his entourage were escorted to a secluded private elevator. As they descended, the elevator suddenly jolted and came to a halt. The guards swiftly pried open the doors, and they all hurriedly exited the stalled elevator. Without warning, the wall crumbled, and Norman found himself confronted by the menacing figure of the Lizard.

The lizard spotted his ex-boss, Norman, and smirked in surprise.

"Norman"

Norman was shocked. How did the creature before him know his name?

"No one takes away my research! ROAR"

The Lizard attacks Norman, but his guards protect him and draw their guns, starting to shoot at the Lizard. Norman is then led away to safety.

"Sir! This way!" said Donald

The Lizard killed all the guards who tried to stop him. He wanted to go after Norman, but first, he needed to complete his mission. His grievances with Norman would no longer matter once his plan was finished. He went to his lab and saw the Ganali device. He grabbed it and headed to the rooftop of Oscorp when suddenly, a web snatched the device from his hand.

"What!"

The lizard looked to see who had grabbed the device and found Spider-Man and Spider-Woman still alive.

"How are you two still alive!"

"Suprised? We spiders don't go down so easily." said Peter

"I'm guessing you need this, but sorry, you can't have it," said Gwen, flailing the device in his hand.

The lizard felt his blood boiling with anger and wanted to strangle the two spiders with his bare hands.

"Grrr, give it back!" He charges at Peter and Gwen, but instead of confronting him, they run away.

"We can't let him get this. If he does, this city is doomed," said Peter

"I guess we are playing the world's dangerous game of tag." joked Gwen

They looked behind and saw the Lizard frantically chasing them, his eyes bloodshot. This scared them, so they hurried even faster.

Ace bravely rescues individuals trapped inside the building. As he makes his way through the wreckage, he encounters numerous people who are pinned under heavy debris. Using his ghost abilities, Ace phases in and out of solid objects to reach and extract them. After successfully freeing them, he carefully brings them to safety outside, where the waiting paramedics can provide the urgent medical attention they need.

"That should be all of them," said Ace

Captain Stacy approaches him and asks about the situation. "Rider, is everyone alright?"

"Yes, I searched through the floors and brought everyone I could find to the paramedics. Some did not make it, though. They were already gone when I arrived."

"Dammit, what about the Lizard? How do we deal with him?"

"Spider-Man and Spider-Woman are dealing with him. I'm waiting for something."

Just in time, the Tridoron arrived, and Izu emerged wearing a black veil to cover her face. She was carrying two briefcases and handed them to Ace.

"I have delivered what you requested, Master."

"Thank you. With these, we can stop him."

Ace then rushes back into Oscorp to help. George looked at Izu and couldn't help but ask.

"Uh, who are you?"

"I'm just the secretary of Kamen Rider," Izu replied

"Okay… do you think they can win?"

"Of course, they will win, definitely."

George sensed the woman's unwavering faith and left it to the heroes. He needed to do his job so she could finish the mess unimpeded.

…

The Lizard is still pursuing Peter and Gwen, crashing through walls and grabbing the device whenever he can. However, Gwen and Peter manage to keep the device away from him.

"You can't run forever!" screamed the Lizard. He jumped toward Peter and threw the device to Gwen.

"Catch!"

Gwen was about to catch it, but Vermin caught it mid-air and gave it to the Lizard.

"Oh no!" Gwen panicked, and Lizard got the device again.

"Perfect, keep those two occupied. I'll deal with the rest." Commanded Lizard to Vermin. He then climbs toward the rooftop of Oscorp Tower, and Gwen and Peter chase after him.

"We have got to stop him!" said Peter. Vermin gets in between them and the Lizard to prevent them from reaching him.

"CRY"

"We got no time to deal with an overgrown rat!" said Gwen as she and Peter fought to get through Vermin.

The Lizard climbs the Oscorp Tower, sets up the Ganali device, and loads the serum. The countdown timer starts, and now all he has to do is wait.

"Soon, humanity will evolve to a higher species…"

"Not if I have anything to say about that."

The Lizard looked behind him and saw Ace. "So, you also survived. There is nothing you can do. The countdown has already started, and you can't stop it!"

"No, I won't give up. I will definitely stop you!" said Ace as he equipped a new driver.

It's the Leangle Buckle. He inserts the change spider card into it, equips the buckle to his waist, and the standby noise plays. Then he slides open the belt to henshin.

"Henshin!"

[OPEN UP]

A purple gate appears before him, and he steps through it. Now, he is adorned in green and golden armor with a spade symbol on his chest. His helmet features purple eyes and an image of a spider. He has transformed into Kamen Rider Leangle.

|Leangle uses Rouze cards, similar to Blade, but Leangle has higher specs. When transforming, the user fuses with the DNA of the Spider Undead. His weapon is the Leangle Rouzer, a khakkhara-styled extendable polearm with one end shaped like a spade symbol and the other featuring a card reader. His deck holder is attached to his waist.|

Ace holds the Leangle Rouzer and gets ready to fight the Lizard. 

"Kamen Rider Leangle, I swear I will save you!"

"HAHAHA, you can try!"

Ace and the Lizard charged toward each other, their determined faces showing their readiness to engage in a high-stakes battle with the city hanging in the balance. Ace wielded the Leangle Rouzer with swift and precise movements, thrusting and slashing at the Lizard, who retaliated with razor-sharp claws and powerful tail swipes. As the confrontation intensified, it became clear that Ace was facing a difficult challenge. While the Lizard only needed to bide its time, Ace was racing against the clock to prevent the device from spreading into the city.

"Let me through!' said Ace

"HAHAHA, you cannot stop me, Kamen Rider!"

"GUH"

Gwen and Peter arrived at the rooftop to see Ace and the Lizard fighting. They managed to get past Vermin by throwing him against a lab.

"We got to help him." said Gwen.

They jumped in to help Ace fight the Lizard. "Heads up, lizard face!" said Peter

They attempted to web him up, but the Lizard was too powerful and could easily rip through their webs. He knocked them away with his tail, sending them to the ground. Peter and Gwen got up, their bodies aching, but they still refused to give up.

"You guys okay?" asked Ace

"Yeah, that did not go so well." said Peter

"What do we do now?" asked Gwen

As they talked, Vermin regained consciousness and teamed up with the Lizard, who stood by his side. The situation became more dire as they now had to overcome both Vermin and the Lizard to stop the activation of the Ganali device.

"HAHAHA, you cannot stop us heroes. All the people of this city shall become my lizard people!" The Lizard cackles assured of his victory.

"How do we stop him…" said Gwen, disheartened. She then felt a hand on her shoulder and saw Ace still having hope.

"Don't give up, Gwen. We will stop them. I guess it is time for me to give you these."

Ace presented two briefcases to Gwen and Peter. "What is this?" asked Gwen.

"Your new power," Ace replied

They opened the briefcases and found two drivers inside. Peter received the Demons Driver, which had a blue body with red tubes attached to the side. In the center was a box screen with a red pad on top of it. The briefcase also contained six Vistamps used for the transformation.

Gwen received a Build Driver along with a small spider bot. The Build Driver had a white and pink body with cute eyes. When Gwen activated it, the spider bot sprang to life and jumped on her hand. She also had the spider Fullbottle, which was injected with the spider that had bitten Gwen through Zea and Ark's research, giving it a whitish-pink color.

"Ace, these are…" Gwen was shocked. She had guessed what these were and could not believe she was getting one.

"I was planning to give you two soon, but I guess it is better to use them now."

The Lizard was watching, but he felt the danger when he looked at the two new drivers. "I don't know what you are doing, but it still won't matter!"

He charges toward them to end them once and for all, but Ace would not let him. He stepped forward and used the Smog Squid Rouze card.

Ace shoots smoke, blinding the Lizard and making him stop in his tracks.

"Hurry! It is time to henshin!" shouted Ace

Gwen and Peter looked at each other and nodded. They felt determined, and with Ace giving them new power, they could win. They would be wasting Ace's trust in them if they can't stop them now.

They equipped their drivers with a click. Peter held the Spider Vistamp, pressed it, and stamped it on the pad.

[SPIDER, DEAL]

Gwen held the Spider Bot, folding itself and revealing an open slot for her to insert the Spider Fullbottle. She then inserted it into the Build Driver and cranked the lever.

[WEAVE, NEITH SPIDER]

Next to Peter, a small metallic spider dangles from a thread beside him. At the same time, web-like strands begin to materialize around Gwen.

[ARE YOU READY]

"HENSHIN X2"

Peter stamped the screen, and the small spider wrapped web strings around him. 

[DECIDE UP]

[DEEP, DROP, DANGER]

[KAMEN RIDER DEMONS]

A dark red and blue armor materialized on his body, and the spider shot a web on his right, wrapping his entire body before attaching itself. Spirals of web patterns are on his body and head. The helmet has two blue eyes with six smaller ones on the side. He is now Kamen Rider Demons.

Gwen is encased in web-like tubes before her form is revealed. She is wearing white and pink armor with golden lines and a spider symbol on her chest. Her helmet has a hood with a golden crown and blue, round bug eyes. She has transformed into Kamen Rider Neith.
