Chapter 42

With a sense of urgency, Ace, Peter, and Gwen swiftly exited the school, their hero suits ready for action.

"Was that your doing, Ace? The one where the announcement called us?" asked Gwen.

"Yeah, I had Ark hack into the school's equipment. The announcement should have only been heard by our class, so it shouldn't pose many problems unless people start asking. Anyway, we have to hurry; Captain Stacy called me and sent cops to stall Vermin. He is most likely stubborn and went to the area as well."

"Dad!" said Gwen as she hurriedly web-swinged toward Vermins's location. Ace and Peter followed after her.

'Gwen, I hope you keep your cool.' Ace thought, worried for her.

Vermin is causing chaos, wreaking havoc on the city by destroying property and causing harm to numerous people. Despite the police's efforts to stop him by shooting at him, Vermin's tough hide renders the bullets ineffective. The situation becomes more intense as the Special Operations team arrives with a formidable display of firepower. A line of officers equipped with riot shields forms the frontline, providing a protective barrier. Positioned behind them are officers armed with an array of powerful weapons, including Remington 870 shotguns, Mossberg 590 shotguns, Brugger & Thomet MP9 submachine guns, and M4 Carbines.

"Get in position! Commanded George in the back line."

He is carefully supervising the situation and giving instructions to the officers nearby.

The specialized unit advanced, firing at Vermin with precision, aiming for his head. Vermin instinctively shielded his head with his hands and body, knowing that the bullets wouldn't penetrate his skin but still finding the barrage bothersome. With a swift leap, Vermin lunged at the group of specialized units, unleashing a ferocious attack. Despite their concerted efforts, the riot shield-wielding operatives struggled to contain Vermin's overwhelming strength.

Vermin grabs two of the riot shielders and throws them to other groups of operatives. The officers, however, stay calm and keep shooting at Vermin. With the front line now exposed, Vermin attacks the officers holding weapons. He scratches them with his claws and uses his tail to bash them. The officers go down one by one, and Captain Stacy orders a retreat.

"Everyone! Fall back!"

The officers cautiously backed away from the relentless Vermin onslaught. Amongst the swarming pests, Vermin locked eyes with the leader and charged straight for Captain Stacy. George, gripped by fear, couldn't shake the memory of Vermin's deadly strike piercing his body during their last encounter.

"Dammnit!" George cursed, he jumped out of the way of the police car, and Vermin rammed through it. George then shoots Vermin with his pistol, but Vermin disregards it.

He swung his claws at George, who managed to dodge the attack, but unfortunately, his gun was destroyed in the process. Vermin loomed menacingly over George, preparing to strike the final blow. George braced himself for the impact, but to his surprise, nothing happened. The next moment, he saw a web shoot out, stopping Vermin in his tracks, followed by a swift, white blur that kicked him away. Just in the nick of time, Gwen arrived to witness her father in peril once again. Fueled by rage, she swiftly intervened, delivering a powerful kick to Vermin, saving her father from harm.

"Are you alright, captain?" asked Gwen, worried about her father.

"I'm alright, thanks to you," he replied

"Have your men retreat; we got this," said Gwen. On cue, Ace and Peter arrived, standing beside her.

Vermin recovers from Gwen's sneak attack and roars at the heroes.

"CRY!"

"You are not getting away this time," said Gwen, rage filling her body

"Don't worry, Gwen. Be calm with us here. He has a zero chance of escaping." said Ace

Ace equips the Gamer Driver and reveals the Mighty Action X Gashat. He presses the button to create the Game Area.

[MIGHTY ACTION X]

|Game Areas are digital fields generated by a Rider Gashat upon activation. When activated, a colored pixelated wave of energy envelops a wide radius around where the user is standing and randomly generates containers on the field that could contain Energy Items for the Rider to use in battle.|

"Dai Henshin!" Ace inserted the Gashat into the Gamer Driver and pulled open the lever.

[MIGHTY JUMP, MIGHTY KICK, MIGHTY MIGHTY ACTION X]

Ace now wears striking magenta armor with accents of black and green on his arms and legs. His chest plate displays a health bar and game buttons, while his helmet features large orange eyes on the visor and stylish magenta hair. He has transformed into Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Level 2.

|Kamen Rider Ex-Aid harnesses the power of Rider Gashats, transformation devices inspired by different game genres. Each Gashat grants Ex-Aid unique abilities that align with the game's theme. These Gashats have multiple levels, allowing Ex-Aid to access higher forms and abilities. For instance, when Ex-Aid uses the Mighty Action X Gashat, his kicking power, precision, and speed are enhanced, making him more adept at close-quarters combat. In addition to these abilities, Ex-Aid gains the capability to perform air jetting, manipulate fall timing, and execute double jumps, giving him a significant advantage in various situations.|

Ex-Aid wields the Gashacon Breaker as his primary sidearm weapon. The Gashacon Breaker features a white base with prominent magenta and green A-B buttons. It can be used as a sword or hammer when switching its form. 

"Kamen Rider Ex-aid, now I'm going to clear this with no continues!"

"You have a catchphrase?" asked Peter

"No, it is just for this form."

"Come one, boys, we have a rat to exterminate." Gwen jumps high, and web swings toward Vermin.

"Someone is out for blood."

Gwen swiftly shoots out a web, aiming it at Vermin before propelling herself towards him. She unleashes a powerful kick as she reaches him, but Vermin expertly blocks it with his arm, sending her flying backward. Ex-aid joins in, wielding the Gashacon Breaker like a hammer as he relentlessly pounds on Vermin. Peter partners with Ex-aid, delivering a flurry of punches and kicks to keep the pressure on.

With a mighty swing, Ex-aid leaps high above Vermin's head, bringing his hammer down upon the villain. Gwen swiftly delivers a powerful uppercut as Vermin staggers, launching him into the air and sending him tumbling to the ground.

"CRY"

"I think we managed to piss him off," said Peter

Vermin's attacks have become increasingly aggressive. He relentlessly pursues Ex-Aid, swiping at him with his claws and using his tail to slam him. Peter intervenes, but Vermin seizes him by the arms and hurls him aside.

"Spider-Man! Okay, no more Ms. Nice Spider." Gwen swiftly uses her webbing to ensnare Vermin's feet, causing him to stumble and fall. Seizing the opportunity, she mounts him and begins raining punches down on his face. However, Vermin retaliates by ensnaring her neck with his tail and forcefully slamming her onto the unforgiving concrete.

"That is as far as you go!" Ex-Aid swiftly attacks Vermin, preventing him from causing any more harm to Gwen. With a quick tap on the A button in the Gashacon Breaker, a sword materializes atop the Gashacon Breaker, ready for action.

Ex-Aid lunged at Vermin with his sword, but Vermin swiftly retaliated with his razor-sharp claws. The opponents seemed evenly matched until Vermin grabbed a nearby rock and hurled it at Ex-Aid. Despite Ex-aid's quick reflexes in blocking the projectile with his sword, Vermin seized the opportunity to tackle him, sending Ex-aid crashing to the ground.

"Ugh, did he get stronger? Then I should step it up a notch." Ex-aid closes the lever in the driver and takes out another Gashat.

[GEKITOTSU ROBOTS]

A red robot floats next to Ex-Aid and inserts the Gashat into the driver before reopening the lever.

"Dai, Dai, Dai, Henshin!"

[MIGHTY JUMP, MIGHTY KICK, MIGHTY MIGHTY ACTION X]

[A GACHA, BUTTOBASEM, TOTSUGEKI, GEKITOTSU PUNCH, GEKITOTSU ROBOTS] (BEAT 'EM UP, ASSAULT, CLASH PUNCH, GEKITOTSU ROBOTS)

The robot combines with Ex-aid, putting red armor over his upper body and shoulders. On his left is the Gekitotsu Smasher, a red giant armored fist. Ace is now Kamen Rider Ex-aid Level 3

|When Ex-Aid uses Gekitotsu Robots, his close-range combat abilities are enhanced. By wielding the Gekitotsu Smasher, Ex-Aid's attacks become ten times more potent, allowing him to deal significantly increased damage. Additionally, his defensive capabilities are bolstered as his armor mitigates incoming damage.|

"Woah, nice armor," said Peter

"My fist is going to hurt. Let's see you handle it." 

Ex-aid and Vermin clashed again, using Gekitotsu Smasher to pummel Vermin. The sheer force behind each punch proved too much for Vermin to defend against, shattering his bones with each blow. Despite his remarkable healing factor, Vermin struggled to regenerate his injuries quickly enough to keep up with the relentless assault.

"What's wrong? Can't handle my punches?" taunted Ex-aid

"CRY!" Vermin roars indignantly and fights back despite his injuries.

Gwen and Peter swing into action, shooting their webs at Vermin and landing a flurry of punches and kicks. Overwhelmed by the combined assault of three opponents, Vermin quickly realizes he's no match and retreats.

"You're not getting away!" said Gwen, unwilling to let him escape.

"Gwen, wait!" Ace and Peter chase after Gwen.

Vermin goes through a large hole in the street, and the trio follows after him.

"This ain't going to smell good," said Peter

"Stop complaining, let's hurry and follow him," said Ace

They all jumped down the hole to follow Vermin.
