Sh*t. They are near.

Jungkook ran faster than before as he turned the corner into a dark alley, his blonde bangs falling over his eyes. He frantically looked around to hide but hearing the footsteps nearing he was felt with no choice but to run again. F*ck, if he was in Olympics, he would've won gold by now. Why did he become a model then? Oh right, that's because he loves to sing. But he sure as hell didn't sign up for 24/7 constant work, interviews, bodyguards, and media up his @ss.

He wasn't sure where he was going but looking at his surroundings, he could see that he neared the proper civilization area, people here and there. This is bad.

Breath Jungkook, breath. It's not the end of the world though it feels like it, just your stupid imagination trying to scare the f*ck outta you. Stay strong my boy.

Jungkook slid into the space between two buildings once he saw his bodyguards come into the streets. He held his breath, looking around for any escape without blowing his cover. But was it possible with his bodyguards littered at every corner of the street? Who the f*ck hired them? Can't even let a model escape.

Racking his now blank brain for anything, he wasn't surprised to find that he was screwed. Yup, pretty much screwed.

PLEASE GOD, SEND SOMEONE TO RESCUE ME-

What the-

Jungkook wiped his head around to see a little girl holding his hand, she looked at him with big blue eyes, chubby cheeks, and rosy lips. She was wearing a beautiful pink gown and her other handheld phone, she looked nearly eight.

"Come", she said in a honey-sweet voice.

"Uh...", Jungkook just stared at her dumbfounded.

"Come", now the girl whined and tugged his shirt. Pulling him into the dark alley as he staggered behind her stupefied, who was this girl? And why is she pulling him? Wait, where is she pulling him? Jungkook looked around and saw houses lined up. It was a cozy neighborhood, not the rich one like his. All the houses were identical, painted white, and gardens with different flowers.

Once he was done observing it all, he looked down at the girl who dragged him to the house at the furthest corner of the street lane. Lilies and roses were littered in the garden as they entered. The girl stopped at the porch, and bent down, pulling out a key from inside a flower pot. Jungkook just stared at her with curiosity, many questions running in his mind per second.

"Come in", she opened the door and beckoned him in with a smile. Jungkook having no other option and curiosity of a mountain followed her into the house.

Is this little girl a serial killer? Wow, I'm gonna die.

"Have a seat, I'll get you water", Jungkook sat on the black couch as he looked around, there was an average size TV, table, and furniture to add the homey look. He didn't train his eyes further than staring at the TV cause he didn't want to intrude on anything. "Here", the ebony-haired girl came into sight, gave the man a gummy smile when she handed him the water which he gladly took. All the running made his throat burn.

Once he drank all the water, he set the glass down on the table and looked at the girl. "Okay, first, thank you so much for bringing me away from the people and for the water. And second, why the hell are you helping me?" Jungkook asked his full attention on her.

"Well, my Appa always told me that we have to help the people in need. You seemed to need my help so I helped", the girl shrugged casually while Jungkook frowned.

"Look, young lady, have you ever heard of stranger danger? What if I could've kidnapped you?" Jungkook asked, concerned the girl might spree some trouble for herself in the future.

YOU JUST DON'T GO HELP AROUND STRANGERS MISSY.

"Weeellll, you didn't and that's what matters", the girl said, giving him a grin.

"That's not how it works, next time don't help strangers like that, you could get hurt", Jungkook said worriedly.

Wait, why am I worried? Oh right, this is a freaking eight-year-old we are talking about.

"Okay, okay. Fine, but you looked cute so I helped", the girl muttered but Jungkook heard it anyways, hearing it from the little girl made him smile right away. "I can fight for myself you know, I don't need your help", the girl said sassily.

"Kid", Jungkook mumbled shaking his head before he realized he didn't even know the girl's name. "So, what's your name, young lady?"

"Didn't you say I shouldn't talk to strangers?" the girl fired back. Smart, but annoying.

"Fine, fine", Jungkook huffed, crossing his arms while the girl followed his lead and mimicked his actions. He internally chuckled. Cute.

But suddenly his phone rang. He looked down at the caller ID and gulped. F*ck he's in deep trouble. So much f*cking deep. With shaky hands, he answered the phone.

"Jeon f*cking Jungkook. I'll give you ten minutes to get here and if I didn't see you in my office soon-".

"I'LL BE THERE!"

And with that he immediately jumped on his feet, startling the young girl whom he hugged.

"Thank you for having me, see you soon if I can soon.. Bye!" with that he dashed out of the house and towards where he parked his car a few minutes ago when this whole fiasco started.

The constant running and hiding from the guards were now fruitless.

But,

Meeting the girl was sure to be needed in his life.

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?"

He wasn't.

"DO YOU KNOW WHAT RUCKUS YOU CAUSED?"

Oh yeah.

"AT WHAT COST? WHAT DID YOU GAIN?"

At this, he zoned out of the lecture as he remembered the blue-eyed, ebony hair girl. Her cute smile, her words, she is an angel. Gosh, those cute chubby-

"-GKOOK ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?" Namjoon yelled at him pissed.

"Uh, yeah, yeah, carry on", Jungkook said absent-mindedly and it pissed the elder more.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'CARRY ON'? I WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS BEHA-".

"Hyung? Why don't you have a boyfriend yet?" Jungkook asked, playing with his fingers to avoid his hyung's furious gaze.

"Jeon Jungkook. Get. The. F*ck. Out".

"Thanks", Jungkook grinned as he jumped to his feet and dashed out. Phew, that was close.

"Seriously, another runaway?" the cocky voice of his co-worker filled his room as he shut the door of his cabin.

"Shut up Jimin", Jungkook grumbled as he flopped on his couch, face buried in the material.

"Wow, that's hyung to you boy", Jimin shot back as he sat in the latter's leather seat, leaning back as he gazed at the younger. "You should be thankful Namjoon didn't inform Yoongi about your little adventure, or you would've had worse".

"Oh, please. Everyone knows Yoongi has the biggest soft spot reserved for me", his voice came out muffled.

"True....", his best friend trailed making him lift his head and look at him with a calculating gaze. Jimin doesn't just trail off like that and definitely isn't a quiet thinker.

"Something in your head?" he asked as he sat up straight now.

"Nothing just... H-How do you do it?" Jimin asked as he looked at him with a dull and nervous gaze.

"Do what? Jimin, you sound so, I don't know, emotional sh*t right now that it's creeping me out", in return the shorter male glared at him but it was weak, sensing that Jungkook walked to the man, putting his hands on his shoulders with the most serious gaze he could muster. "Are you troubled of getting horny at the shoot? Then just find me in my cabin hun-ow, ow, ow. Okay stop it", he covered himself behind the couch as the elder male started abusing him.

"SHUT UP! It's not that, just, never mind. You wouldn't get it anyways you horny sh*t", Jimin shot at him with a glare. "And don't worry, I'm not gonna look for you when I'm horny. I've got someone else much better than you", he muttered as he started walking out.

"Ouch, are you cheating on me?" Jungkook faked being hurt as he clutched his heart.

"Oh please, shut up you drama king and your heart is on your left side sh*thead", with that, the pink-haired went out while Jungkook started to question his left hand on his right chest.

"Wow I see how this is going", he glared at his hands before he looked out the window. Luckily, his cabin had the best view of the city, calming and beautiful to look at. The only thing he ever thought was beautiful was the view. Beautiful is a very, very important and valuable word to him. No way he's just going to throw it on things, well, maybe someone had the privilege but he left that someone behind without a goodbye. But it's never a goodbye. Because though he left, his heart never did.

Speaking of beautiful, Jungkook stared back at his hands, where the little girl held him. He wouldn't picture her beautiful but she was pretty. Very pretty, on the appearance and at heart. He wondered if he could meet her again. Maybe, he never thought he would meet her, and he'll never know if he'll meet her again.

Maybe fate has something in it for him, pieces of his past and fragments of his future.
