Qiao Shishi didn't go to the underground parking garage but instead walked toward the community's main gate.

"Where are you going?" asked Yu Jingxi.

Qiao Shishi, wearing a mask, pointed ahead. "I'll wait for you up ahead."

Yu Jingxi fetched his car in confusion, and when he drove up to the community's main gate,

he was surprised to see Qiao Shishi neatly arranging the meal boxes, with several stray dogs gathered around to eat.

Only then did Qiao Shishi wipe her tears and get into Yu Jingxi's car.

He looked outside and then at her. "When did you notice there were stray dogs here? I've never noticed them."

"I saw several stray dogs when I came in just now. Um, maybe you didn't notice because you always drive back and forth."

Yu Jingxi frowned. "Those dogs do look pretty pitiful, should let Meatball see this and it would realize how lucky it is."

"Meatball is so cute and fat, incredibly adorable," Qiao Shishi said, fondly.
