Mrs Guan's p.o.v

I meticulously packed my bags, my movements were deliberate and swift as my eyes darted around the room, not like anyone was in though, just a normal routine of me ensuring that no trace of my true intentions seemed visible.

With practiced precision, I concealed my weapons, in a section of my clothes, and in my bag, expertly hiding them from any sort of prying eyes. Picked up my bag, and headed straight for the parking lot, I was wearing a gown, but underneath, I had a crop top and leather pants.

Japan here I come. Walking boldly towards my car, I could feel the thrill running through my veins.

"Good day ma'am" my driver bowed opening the door of my black Porsche 911 turbo. "Hello Henry," I said with excitement evident in my voice.

"Hurry up, I've 30 minutes before my plane takes off."

At the airport

The airport bustled with activity as travelers hurried to their gates, their voices blending into a symphony of anticipation. The scent of coffee lingered in the air, intermingling with the faint aroma of pastries from the nearby bakery.

Announcements echoed throughout the terminal, guiding passengers to their respective flights. Security personnel maintained a vigilant watch, ensuring safety amid the organized chaos.

Amidst it all, the departure boards flickered with updates, displaying a tapestry of destinations waiting to be explored.

I arrived some minutes before the time, and after a few bustles around, we were headed towards the plane, I don't go through all this stress, searching, and blah blah.

As passengers approached the airplane, they were greeted by the sight of its towering fuselage against the backdrop of the tarmac. A sense of anticipation filled the air as travelers queued up, their boarding passes in hand, ready to embark on their journey.

Flight attendants welcomed each one of us with warm smiles, guiding them toward the entrance with gentle gestures.

Inside the aircraft, the ambiance shifted to one of subdued tranquility. Soft lighting illuminated the aisle, casting a comforting glow over the plush seats arranged neatly in rows.

Passengers settled into their assigned seats, stowing their carry-on luggage in the overhead compartments with practiced ease.

As departure time approached, the cabin crew performed their final safety checks, their professional demeanor instilling confidence in the travelers. The captain's voice resonated over the intercom, delivering a reassuring message and detailing the flight plan.

With a gentle hum, the engines roared to life, sending vibrations through the cabin as the aircraft taxied towards the runway.

As it reached the threshold, the anticipation peaked, and then with a powerful surge, the plane accelerated down the runway, lifting gracefully into the sky.

I was in the economy section, I didn't want anything posh or loud, and with my sunglasses on, I slowly closed my eyes. Not to sleep but to meditate, either way, I might sleep off anyway.

Havana, Cuba

Lin's p.o.v

After dinner, Miguel led me back upstairs, and this time I noticed the doors, curiosity made me wonder what was going to be on the other side. Although not want to look that curious, I just brushed the idea aside for now it's myself I should focus on.

I entered my room with Miguel, and he showed me where I could take my bath, and a closet to change my clothes..

"Goodnight Miss Lin," he said walking out of the room and shutting the door behind him.

I exhaled deeply, sitting on my bed. I was wondering when such special treatment would end, and the harsh reality of everything would start to hit me. Being kept in this place meant only one thing, my dad and my brothers were trying to negotiate with my abductors and maybe plead with them to take good care of me. I stood up and walked towards the closet, and on opening it, I realized there were a lot of feminine clothes, from sweatpants to tops, to gowns, etc. "Wow" I mumbled, it's as though it was specially kept there for me. I slowly started to undress, and I took a bathrobe and headed for the shower.

Downstairs...

"Miguel are you sure she's the one, I don't want any mistakes"

"Yes am sure, the Chaplins brought her down here, she matches the description you gave " Miguel whispered into the cell phone in his hands.

"And how's she been treated?"

"She is well taken care of, the Chaplins did order me not to put her through any kind of stress here at all,"

"Okay, that's good news," the person said with some kind of relief in his voice.

"I'll get back to you, with your check". The person said and the line went off.

Naples, Italy

A spacious home office with rich mahogany furniture, including a grand desk adorned with leather inserts. Plush leather chairs offer comfort and style for guests. The room is bathed in soft, ambient lighting from ornate chandeliers, while large windows overlook manicured gardens.

A state-of-the-art computer setup sits atop the desk, surrounded by shelves displaying rare books and artifacts collected from around the world. A globe sits in one corner, symbolizing the tycoon's global reach, while a personal bar cart adds a touch of luxury for celebratory moments...

A shrill ring of the telephone pierces the silence of the room, echoing off the polished walls. A man's hand swiftly reaches for the receiver, his movements precise and confident. As he brings it to his ear, his demeanor shifts, his voice exuding authority and control as he answers the call.

"And you're sure she's in Cuba?" Mr Luca asked over the phone.

"Yes sir, am very certain, it's from a reliable source " the person responded with confidence.

"You did a great job, Derrick," he said with some hints of a smirk.

"Thank you, Sir," he said "When am I getting the money" he added almost immediately.

"Soon Derrick, as soon as I confirm the Chaplins took her," he said and ended the call immediately.

Mr Guan p.o.v

So presently it's just me and the boys. I found out my wife had to rush to South Korea to take care of something business-related, I wasn't surprised actually, it isn't the first time Claire has done things like this, and am pretty sure can take care of herself, even if something goes wrong.

Right now I have so many things on the ground, but the most important is finding my daughter. My boys were handling other parts of the empire for me, although some were taking care of the house since Claire wasn't available.

We are all this very perfect family, with strong bonds and trust, with a deep love for one another, all together we were unbreakable, unstoppable. This family I built is one thing am very proud of, and am ready to trade anything for my family.

I slightly swung my seat, as the aircon swung, facing my face. I breathed in and then exhaled sharply. I wouldn't want anything to happen to Lin, the heir of my empire, My only child.

Hello, lovely readers, So I can't really keep up with the pace of updating every day, because other things need my attention, never the less I would try my very best, but I'd appreciate it if y'all could leave reviews and comments. It really goes a long way in motivating me honestly.
