Grave Mistake

"Aleta, you..." Taserface sprang up, perching on the edge of his chair. He pointed a sharp finger towards the stern female leader and proclaimed,

"Sooner or later, I will..."

"Enough, sit down and listen,"

Stakar commanded attention among the Ravager chiefs.

He was revered as the epitome of justice!

Despite their Ravagery nature, each faction had its own distinct characteristics.

"The Angel's are on a distant planet discovered by Yondo during his voyages across the cosmos!"

"From what we've gathered, the structures there appear rudimentary, lacking heavy defenses. It's estimated that over 2,000 Angels inhabit the place. Without a doubt, they hold unparalleled value across the universe!"

Once known as Hope Star, Planet Surya, as it's now called, used to be heavily armed by the Skrulls.

"The potential wealth here is staggering. Excluding the Collector, each Angel sold to civilizations eager to study or observe them could fetch at millions!"

"Many civilizations have offered bounties," Stakar declared with determination.

"We need to take advantage of every opportunity," he continued, his voice full of conviction. "Conquer this planet, dominate this faction, and if possible, capture some specimens to keep in captivity."

"But keep in mind, this might be our only chance. Intelligence gathered over the past three years indicates that they've made significant advances in their technology."

"If we can, we should acquire that tech by any means necessary. It'll fetch a high price in the market!"

"Value speaks for itself, doesn't it? If you're on board, pledge your commitment, gather our forces, and let's make this happen together!"

"Absolutely, the code of the Ravagers is sacred!"

All the Ravager leaders, simultaneously pounded their chests with their right fists, their expressions serious as they spoke.

Ravagers follow their own laws, and the oaths made among them are unbreakable.

These oaths are the foundation of unity and survival within the Ravager community, and they're the very reason why major civilizations hire their services.

Ravagers will do whatever it takes to uphold these principles.

"So, what are the strengths of these Angels?" inquired the cold, black-haired woman, stressing the importance of understanding the Angels' abilities.

Charli fell silent for a moment, then with a sigh, he began describing the Angels' combat abilities using a video of their assault on the Kree empire space cruiser.

The video showed an Angel breaching the Kree Empire cruiser's armor with sheer force, entering the spaceship.

"It's a tough opponent, no wonder you came to us," the stern woman remarked coldly, prompting the major leaders to gather and strategize.

Despite the impressive display of strength by the Angels, even surpassing them in power by several times, it didn't shake their determination.

.....

On Surya, Caesar sparred with Valina, but his mind seemed elsewhere. Besides the obvious absence of ground forces, another worry burdened him.

Noticing his distraction, Valina raised an eyebrow and asked, "What's on your mind?"

Caesar shook his head, his gaze distant, and murmured, "It's nothing, just that our new acquaintance has arrived."

Outside Surya's perimeter, the Ravagery army gathered, their massive spacecraft looming ominously overhead, casting a shadow over the entire planet. Countless weapons were aimed, ready to engulf Luminara Primein flames at any moment.

The First Angel Legion stood ready, facing off against the Ravagers hovering high in the sky.

"Ha! Who knew Angel would be such a strategic gem! We've struck gold!" exclaimed the excitable Charlie, reveling in their conquest. Discovering numerous natural wormholes surrounding Luminara Primeonly added to their joy.

"Don't celebrate too soon. After we've seized Surya, there's still much to be done," interjected Aleta, halting the revelry of the Ravagers.

"Aleta, just wait until our pact expires; I'll make you regret this!" the Charlie retorted with frustration.

Kabriel, perched upon a small cross-like apparatus, led Angel Azrael and Angel Samkiel. Countless Angels trailed behind them, a formidable force in flight.

"Either you've got some serious guts, or you're all just plain fools to come here to receive God's warth!" Kabriel's voice dripped with scorn as he addressed the armada of spacecraft before him, noting a few among them that seemed to exude a tangible threat.

Yet, Kabriel remained undeterred, for this was his Lord Caesar's domain.

"God?" chuckled the Ravager chieftains. "Sorry, we've dispatched plenty of so-called gods before!"

"Which 'god' do you serve?" In the vastness of the universe, certain advanced civilizations were revered as deities by lesser beings.

Inside the palace Caesar pitied the poor Ravagers. He was the one and only God and Lord of his Angels. And insulting him was a grave mistake. This will lead his Angels to go into a crazy frenzy seeking vengence.

"Our Lord Caesar shall not be blasphemed! The sovereignty of the divine must be respected! Slay the wretches! Let their corpses fashion a throne befitting our Lord!"
