Michael couldn't move. He wanted to move, but he couldn't. It felt like roots sprouted from the floor and was stilling him on the spot. All he could do was stare at the vile creature looking at him with such intense blood lust.

Marcus was staring at him with such a wicked grin. It felt like he was literally a monster clad in human skin. 

"Marcus," Michael breathed out listlessly. "How did you become like that?"

The corner of Marcus's lips stretched wider until the side of his eyes creased. "I'll show you."
