Valac

"You are Sister Irene... Did you fight against Valac before?" Anton looked at the content of the book and asked without lifting his gaze.

Irene walked toward the fireplace in her house and sat in front of it, gazing at the fire burning slowly among the wood embers. She said, "I did, but I could never defeat it. That demon is not something a simple nun can face."

Knowing that Sister Irene had faced the demon Valac, Anton walked in front of the elderly woman and asked, "How strong?"

"Much stronger than some simple demons..."

In 1952, a horrible incident occurred at the Santa Carta Monastery, where a nun seemingly committed suicide, and a young Frenchman from the nearby village found her hanging from a rope.

When the Vatican learned about it, they sent a priest to investigate, but they decided to take Sister Irene with him since her visions seemed to be related to the incident. The priest meets Sister Irene, who accepts the task.

The two travel to the monastery, but the abbess informs them that only Sister Irene can enter since it is a cloistered place. She offers them accommodation for the night, where the priest explains to Irene about a failed exorcism for which he feels guilty.

That night, the priest is attacked by a demonic spirit and buried alive, although Irene manages to hear the commotion and unearth him.

The next day, Irene enters the abbey and finds the nuns praying in shifts day and night to keep the evil at bay. Sister Lucia explains that before it was a monastery, the castle was a place built and owned by a satanic worshiper who invoked a demon. Christian knights were able to seal it with the true blood of Christ, but the bombings during World War II reopened the rift.

It is then revealed that the demon, named Valac, is loose and attacks Irene. Irene prays with the other nuns, ignoring the demon carving a pentagram on her back, only to try to keep praying and protect herself. However, Irene realizes that all the nuns, including the abbess and Sister Lucia, have been dead all along, killed by Valac, and they were just visions.

She realizes that the nun who committed suicide did so to prevent Valac from possessing a human host. They realize that the only thing that can stop Valac is the blood of Christ, which is in a jar hidden in the reliquary.

Anton understood the story that had existed since ancient times, and after learning enough, he stood up. "That's enough. If that was summoned in this place, it means it can be eliminated in this place."

"Didn't you hear what I told you?" Irene looked at Anton, slightly surprised that even after hearing that, he still wanted to go to the abbey.

No matter if Anton faced the devil himself, there was nothing that could stop him, especially now that he was more powerful than most exorcist priests. But he knew that, like any strong being, he could fall, and to prevent that, he needed to be very careful, as he had been doing for a long time.

"If I can't send that demon back to where it came from, I won't be at peace. I recently discovered in an exorcism that Valac, transformed into a nun, marked a couple I care about a lot. So, to prevent strange things, I'll pay a visit." Anton looked at the elderly woman, who was sitting with a certain concern.

And before she could ask anything, Anton inquired, "Do you think you could train some young girls to be nuns? Some time ago, I saved those girls from the hands of some mobsters, and it turns out they want to become nuns from now on."

"I can do it if you come back alive." Irene nodded, looking at Anton's back, reminding her of a certain priest she met in her youth.

Leaving the house, Anton looked at the men in front of him and said, "Let's go, gentlemen. We'll delve into the abbey as much as we can."

"Understood, Guardian Bishop!"

Everyone got into the vehicles with serious expressions, expecting the worst and without any fear on their faces. At that moment, they advanced through the forests on a path where darkness was all that surrounded them. The next moment, a huge structure appeared in front of them, and everyone got out of the trucks.
