Phase Two [3]

"So, the boss monster is in the center, most probably that mountain is the center."

A white-haired boy muttered while standing on a tall tree while looking at the tall mountain, present between a forest.

The white-haired boy then jumped down from the tree on the land, if anyone had seen it, they would have been surprised as the tree was more than 50-m tall.

And that boy was just a 15-16 year old who jumped, without even batting an eye.

The boy then with his goofy smile, holding his spear started running, while muttering.

"How strong will this boss monster be, hehe!

He must be super strong, right?!.

As we have to kill it in six months.

Ha ha, why don't I go and find out."

The white-haired boy continued running towards the mountain while laughing.

In his way, many beasts tried to attack him, but he easily maneuvered through them, while bisecting their heads.

And soon he reached the mountain.

When he arrived here in the forest it was noon, but right now the sun was about to set.

The white-haired boy 'Ishana', seeing the night is upon him.

He decided to rest and find that Boss monster the next day after dawn.

He thought of resting in some cave on the mountain.

He started walking towards the south of the mountain as he didn't find any cave on the east side on which he was on.

Soon he reached the south side where he noticed a cave hiding behind a rock, even he was only able to find it because he was walking from the east and was looking for some cave.

That's why he was able to spot the outline of its entrance.

He climbed the mountain a little to reach, the same level as the cave.

He then removed the heavy stone covering the entrance and entered the cave.

Arya recalled what was written in the book when the protagonist of the story reached the second phase of the story.

Where he accidentally finds the story, and inside he receives something, that people will kill anyone to get.

Arya then decided to go towards the mountain and try to find that cave.

He thought of jumping from the tree like 'Ishana' and he jumped

"ahh"

But he soon regretted it.

As He was not able to land properly, which caused him to stumble and fall on his face.

Though he was not injured, he was disappointed but decided to focus on the mountain.

He started running towards the mountain while muttering.

"Damm, was he some monkey reincarnate, to be able to jump down? Or maybe he too did fall. But write it as if he landed easily."

Well, he didn't know, if this was true or not for now, as for the future no one knew.

He then started running at a speed

at which he expected he would reach the mountain before the sunset.

The mountain was around fifty kilometers from his current position and right now it was noon.

So he expected himself to reach at around 6 - 7 PM.

When Arya was running, he decided to climb the trees and run on its thick canopy as it would save time from both beasts and the uneven land.

He climbed a tree till he crossed the canopy, and started running at a fast speed, so he didn't fall.

As he was going towards the mountain, a few beasts flying in the air noticed him and decided to attack him.

"Kaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!"

Arya saw the pack of those bird types beasts coming towards him, due to their high-pitched scream.

They were brown, with a long white pointy beak, though their main body was 5 feet, their wings spanned a total of 7 feet.

The pack contains a total of seven of these birds.

While coming towards Arya they were flying in a V- formation.

Soon they reached his position, as he was standing there with his spear.

As the first one reached Arya, he slashed his spear vertically and struck the head of the beast, but the beast's exoskeleton was stronger than he expected.

As though his attack hit, but didn't do much damage, seeing his attacks didn't work.

He jumped back to save himself from the attack of the six other beasts that were just about to attack him.

Due to his timely judgment, he saved himself.

The beast then flew towards the sky once again and dived again, but this time something was different.

As their beak started shining, Arya understood that they were using their tantra,

And he didn't stand a chance, even if he could maybe kill one with his Jiva-enchanted spear, but seven of them.

No chance, so he decided to run away from them. He made a few jumps to the front.

Just as the beast reached him, he jumped down as he was near a place where the canopy was light.

This time while falling, he used a few branches to decrease his momentum and land safely.

After landing he saw above, he noticed from the gap he jumped, that the birds were screeching and circling above his position.

After, noticing he is safe, Arya decides to continue his journey.

During the journey, he comes across a few goblins, which he bisected without them even knowing what happened.

As he expected he reached the mountain at around 7:00 PM, if not for those birds he could have reached faster.

After reaching there he started, to find that mountain cave.

He only knew a few details like it was Little above the ground level and was closed by a rock.

He noticed that the mountain had a ring-like extension though it was very small, but it increased the possibility of a similar cave existing.

But Arya decided to not search the cave as it was already night and he had to go towards the east and then move in a clockwise direction to find the cave.

Arya then climbed one of the trees and decided to rest. The layer of the canopy was thick, so no one would be able to see him.

Both Beasts and Humans, Yes Humans too as from what he learned from his hunting with Setanta and party is that you can't trust anyone completely.

As even back then there was a traitor in their party, if not for that kobold situation.

they never would have realized it and it could have hurt them in more than one way.

So he climbed the tree, sat in the canopy while holding his spear, and started resting.

The next day, at dawn, Arya woke up and decided to head towards the east till he could see the sun in a straight line.

From there he started walking in a clockwise direction around the mountain.

Soon he reached the original position and along the way, he didn't find anything like the cave mentioned in the novel.

'Maybe, it's just a coincidence as neither I found any person here nor the cave'

Though he started to lose hope of finding it, he decided to move a little more in the clockwise direction.

After walking around 2 Km along the circumference of the mountain, he found it.

A big rock that was placed as if was natural, but from the position Arya was looking.

He can see a little gap, that shows the hollow space behind the rock.

And the cave that was hidden behind it.

Arya jumped and reached the rock and started to push, though very heavy. Arya was able to remove it.
