"Thank you, but I think I don't need it," Pei Jinye declined politely.
"Okay, I wish you a pleasant day."
The conversation came to an end as the elevator doors opened.
When Pei Jinye appeared in the dining hall, Brother Bi hadn't arrived yet. However, Zhou Ye was surprised to see him, hastily putting down his lunchbox as he exclaimed in astonishment, "Are your injuries healed? Weren't you told to rest a bit longer?"
"I missed you guys, just came to check on you," Pei Jinye said with a smile.
Taken aback, Zhou Ye replied with a smile, "You're too kind. What do you want to eat? It's on me."
Pei Jinye shook his head, gesturing to the lunchbox he was holding, "Brought it from home, let's share."
Zhou Ye, catching the scent, eagerly helped open the lunchbox, and immediately the fragrant aroma spread out.
Zhou Ye's eyes lit up as he said, "Did your aunt make this? Wow, it smells amazing."
"Eat up, I brought enough for three," Pei Jinye responded with a laugh.
