"No. I do not know him." She hanged the subject and spoke about the event after unfreezing the screen.

"It wasn't necessary. They can handle themselves now. I have been teaching Li Jie the spear. The boy has talent." Beside, I was waiting for you back here. He didn't say the last part out loud.

Old Mo became nervous. "What do they want?"

"It makes sense but why don't they just go by themselves, they are more than capable of it." Zhu Lan asked.

"They don't want to do it. We stand to benefit from it more than them who are 'hidden' so they want to make us work for it." Zhu Li answered him.

"Bingo." Amelia agreed.

"Are you going?" Old man Mo asked.

"Normally I wouldn't go but my dear sister is sure to come. How can I let her hog all the fun? Besides, this alliance will prove useful in the future. It will serve me well to show sincerity." Amelia said with a serious tone.

"You seemed annoyed by the letter." Zhu Lan commented.

"I am very annoyed by it. I just got back and would like to have a long swim in the base's pool house or a stroll in the spirit gardens before I am faced with endless death and carnage." Amelia ranted before sitting down pouting.

"It probably won't take long." Blake offered.

"Yeah, but there are no problems with the brain scanning devices right? We can't have our people injured and trapped in a game for ever."

"You can go back. I will attend this meeting with Blake." She dismissed them.

"Are you sure about this?" Blake looked at her worried expression.

"There is a variable." She answered.
