This virus does not cause significant harm to the human body. On the contrary, it makes people look very perfect. Regardless of whether you were born unattractive or short, once you have been transformed by this virus, everyone becomes handsome or beautiful.
Unfortunately, Iron Man is not running a charity. At the start, there was a free trial period for this virus, but as soon as it ended, people had to renew it through a special app that Stark introduced. And it was not cheap.
As previously mentioned, those who can afford this pay-for-beauty scheme will rapidly widen the gap between the rich and the poor. The rich can remain youthful and beautiful, while the poor remain unattractive and weak, with no way out of their situation.
Indeed, this was the case. Ultimate Iron Man took note of this during his devious scheme's implementation, but he had not expected subsequent developments to spiral out of his control.
This led to a series of tragedies no one wanted to see, and Ultimate Iron Man understood that since he had a chance to start over, he must reverse all of this.
The current time point is shortly after Ultimate Iron Man released the virus. The transformation of appearance had only occurred in a small area of San Francisco. Most people thought it was a media stunt or another lie from internet celebrities, so it hadn't provoked significant discussion yet.
However, as the saying goes, laymen watch the fun while insiders watch the know-how. In terms of biotechnology, Osborn certainly was an insider.
Osborn keenly noticed the changes brought about by the virus, realizing immediately that it was a man-made event and quickly started an investigation.
Under normal timelines, the Osborn Group didn't pose much trouble for Stark. The main reason was that by this time, Stark had already decided to spread the virus on a large scale, rendering any research by Osborn useless.
However, for some reason, Stark had not announced the third round of virus release. His hesitation made the Osborn Group a problem he could not avoid.
Solving the virus is unlikely, but the Osborn Group might research a cure, or directly report him to Congress or, most fatally, publicize the side effects of the virus to the public.
Without much thought, one could anticipate that the virus could not be perfect. Otherwise, why would White Can sell it so cheap? If there were truly no side effects, they wouldn't need to sell it to ordinary people; it'd be more profitable to follow a premium strategy.
The most significant side effect of the virus was it made people irritable. Stark had not yet found a way to eliminate this side effect, which is why it was introduced at the civilian level — if it was used by the president from the outset, a third world war may have already started.
Without a doubt, the Osborn Group noticed this as well. So they installed many cameras to capture the side effects of this mysterious virus and use public opinion to counter the virus spreader.
"How's it going over there?" Later, Stark sent a message to Bruce.
But Bruce, who was preparing to go out, didn't notice the lit-up mobile phone. He seized an excellent opportunity and was about to seize it.
This is how it happened: He was hurt during a daytime brawl, and soon after, he was taken by staff to the medical room to be bandaged.
Knowing his mobile phone was not being monitored, he took it with him and, while the staff were not paying attention, he set the phone to record and hid it behind a flower pot.
He did not hope to record anything; he acted on the principle of trying just in case, putting in his best effort.
However, while this particular Batman was not good, he was lucky enough and indeed recorded something.
While Bruce was having his wounds bandaged in the medical room, two movers came down the hallway. It was apparent they were not trained employees of the Osborn Medical Experiment Center, but outsiders. They spoke without caution, and everything was recorded.
According to their conversation, the San Francisco experiment center mainly conducted human experiments, while the New York center conducted animal experiments. However, the San Francisco center had achieved some results that were helpful for animal experiments, so Old Osborn decided to merge the two projects and moved everything to San Francisco.
The movers were shifting some equipment for animal experiments. They were complaining that Old Osborn was giving them a little and asking for a lot. They had to handle everything gently and were prohibited from throwing any object.
However, from the tone of the two movers, it was clear they had been quite careless, which is why Bruce planned to check out the quarantine warehouse.
After all, this place was not a prison. This Batman would be deemed weak on the Gotham Grand Stage, but he was sufficient in a remote experiment center.
Before the staff came to lock the door, he used a slender twig to jam the lock barrel. The other party did not notice anything and left.
Walking down the deserted corridor and not hearing any alarm from surveillance, Bruce couldn't help but think that the people here had a low level of vigilance. It wasn't safe to conduct illegal experiments without a plethora of cameras covering every corner.
Effortlessly getting to the temporary quarantine warehouse, Bruce didn't even need to go in to smell the characteristic odor of animal waste.
He opened a small slit in the main door and peeked inside. Some boxes had indeed tipped over in the corner.
Bruce tiptoed in, ignoring the animals and heading straight for office supplies on the other side.
Based on the conversation between the two movers, there should be some computers storing confidential data that hadn't been moved yet. They were Bruce's target.
Without much effort, he found the unbooted computers in a box behind a shelf. He moved them to the emergency light's power source, intending to boot them up and take a look.
However, he had never used such advanced equipment and was unclear how to start the confidential computer. He didn't dare to turn on the light, so he was slowly feeling around.
As his hand was reaching behind the computer looking for the charging port, he saw what appeared to be a small shadow dart across his foot only to disappear a moment later.
Bruce didn't pay it any mind and continued reaching when suddenly a severe pain shot from the back of his hand, causing him to scream.
"Ah!!!!!!"
Gasping heavily, Bruce knelt on the ground clutching his hand as a small shadow jumped down from his arm.
Under the faint light filtering through the door, Bruce could see clearly; it was a spider.
