Next up was a toy store, selling a variety of Star Wars-themed handicrafts, including dolls of classic characters, classic lightsaber display pieces, badges, chess pieces, and large packs of figurines.
Although Shiller wasn't a star wars fan, he was interested in some classic images. He bought a small Yoda doll and then bought some badges to give to the staff at the Arkham Sanatorium.
This was Stark's home ground. He began to explain the original characters of the dolls to Steve and what they had done, and he started a mad shopping spree, almost buying every item in the store. It was Shiller who eventually helped him carry all using the gray mist.
Eventually, they arrived at the most popular Dock's Antique Store. Dock, an alien with a long neck and purplish-red skin ethnicity, was the most famous collector on Batu Star, and the protagonists came to visit him to seek the lightsaber lost by the Star Wars protagonist.
Items sold here leaned more towards elegance and sophistication and had a more vintage style, such as a globe with delicate metal decorations, cups with Batu-style patterns, mini bronze statues of past protagonists, and coins with embossed portraits.
This was a gift shop in the Star Wars Zone and of course Ororo's home ground. Knowing that Professor X was fond of such styles, she thought they would match the British-style decor of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.
She also bought cups and coasters for the female colleagues, and statue display pieces for the male colleagues at the school. What puzzled everyone was that she bought a bronze long knife specifically for Wolverine.
"Don't look at me like that," she said. "Jean was complaining to me on the phone that Logan has been looking for a long knife displayed on the porch cabinet of his childhood Halite Manor. If he can't find it, he plans to leave the porch of his new house empty."
Ororo looked down at the gift box in her hand and said, "I don't know if this knife will satisfy him, but I think the color of it matches his claws quite well."
It was already past noon and everyone was starting to feel hungry, so they stopped browsing the shops and visited a classic Star Wars scene, the best bar in the entire universe, Oga's Tavern.
The entrance to the tavern was small and was a rounded triangular shape. It exuded a strong market aura. Upon entering, there was a huge steampunk-style circular bar, where a variety of people were having low-key conversations.
Now was mealtime, so there were many people in the tavern, it was very noisy and steamy. However, many people were wearing costumes they bought from the costume shop, so it really seemed as though it was a bustling interstellar bar.
As soon as Steve walked over, the big-bearded tavern boss knocked on the countertop with his glass base, saying, "Look who this is, the world-famous Captain America. What brought you here today?"
Steve showed no sign of stage fright, he smiled and sat down next to the bar saying, "I just came from the Andromeda system. We've heard that trouble's brewing in Centaurus."
"Oh, that's too bad." The tavern boss raised his glass, turned around to pour drinks for the group, saying, "The interstellar pirates are rampant again, Yondu, that blue-skinned freak, doesn't know what's got into him. He's going head-to-head with an escort fleet of the Kree Empire. He's really a fool, if you ask me."
Shiller and Stark noticed that behind the circular bar, a few smugglers in robes were whispering. Shiller perked his ears, they were discussing the situation in Centaurus.
"Who knows what the boss is thinking, what does building a safety system in the Star Area have to do with us? We go back to Centaurus and eat and drink as expected. If that smuggling oil and water are gone, can't survive?"
"Besides." one of the smugglers scanned the area around them and said, "This Earth is no different from Centaurus anyway. The tavern is still old and run down, quite like my hometown."
Another guy nudged him slightly and said, "Less talking please, do whatever the boss tells you to do. Have you set the beacon? If the spaceship lands at the wrong spot, the boss will feed you to the raccoon."
"Don't even get me started on that raccoon. I accidentally stepped on his tail last time, and he nearly blowed off my jaw with a shot. He's tiny, but his temper isn't."
At this point, Shiller saw that one of them only had four fingers on the hand holding the glass. This wasn't something special-effect props could create.
He narrowed his eyes and lightly nudged Stark, who was studying the liquid in his glass, with his elbow. Stark leaned in, looking past the central pillar of the round bar.
A flash of light gleamed on his glasses, Stark raised an eyebrow and said, "Those two aliens look like they're native to the Green Land Star in Centaurus, calling themselves the Tata race or the Crawling tribe, I forgot."
Stark gently pressed a button on his glasses, and a lot of information appeared in front of his eyes. He clicked his tongue and said, "This race is really ugly, like a lizard walking upright."
"Sounds like they're with Yondu." Shiller took a sip of his cold drink and said, "Is Yondu planning to visit the Earth? How would Thor let him in?"
"Does he want to fly in? Our starport isn't ready, there's nowhere for large ships to land, they can only come in small ships that can only hold a few people. I doubt the Asgardians would be afraid of that."
"The question is, why is he coming?" Shiller said with some confusion. "Don't tell me he's coming for a vacation?"
"That big-bearded guy is a mimic." Stark looked to the side and said, "There are quite a few aliens in this tavern now, and I must say, they've done a great job impersonating humans."
"Could they not? Yondu's adopted child is an Earthling, Peter Quill, do you not remember him?"
"I only remember Peter Parker," said Stark, taking another sip of his drink. Just as he was about to speak, he noticed a burly figure and a woman enter. He sneered and said, "Another two aliens."
It was Clark and Diana who had arrived. As soon as Diana entered the tavern, she was alert. Right off the bat, she could tell that many of the tourists here were not humans.
Pirates, who are more sensitive to energy than humans, instantly felt the powerful divine energy emanating from Diana. The atmosphere inside the tavern froze instantly.
Many people stood up and stared coldly at Diana. The big-bearded man was wiping the wine glass in his hand, tilted his head slightly, and said, "God Clan? What are you doing here?"
"That's what I should be asking you." Diana stared fiercely at the big-bearded man's face and asked, "You're not humans, why are you on Earth?"
"Looks like you're a native deity. But I advise you to mind your own business, missy."
As the big-bearded man spoke, a group of long-robe-wearing smugglers began to gather around them.
The rest of the humans were all eagerly craning their necks to see, thinking it was a special event arranged by the venue.
The next second, Diana flew straight up, her black hair fluttering without wind, divine power brimming in her eyes.
With a whoosh, the Lasso of Truth flew out, tightly wrapped around the big bearded man. Diana's agile body lunged to the right, a hooked punch knocked out one of the smugglers on the side. Following it with an aerial roundhouse kick, a group on the other side fell to the ground.
"Wait! Stop!!!"
"There are many people here, you can't fight here. Everyone leave!" Captain America cried out.
"I am saving them." Diana looked coldly at Captain America and said, "These aliens have a strong smell of blood on them, they are either pirates or smugglers, are you expecting the police to deal with them?"
"This is Earth, not anyone's dueling field, stop fighting immediately!" Captain America shouted sternly.
At this time, the pirates dressed as smugglers had already started to pull out their weapons. Clark couldn't just stand by, his eyes shot out red lasers, directly shooting a gun out of a pirate's hand.
Stark flipped a card upwards, and the battle armor was armed in an instant. T'Challa's spear also emitted bright lasers.
Seeing the situation was turning wrong, Shiller quickly pulled Ororo aside and whispered to her.
"Who exactly are you?" Diana, floating in mid-air, stared intently at the big bearded man who was tied up by the Lasso of Truth.
"We are under Yondu, the interstellar pirate."
"What are you doing here? "
"Yondu didn't tell us, but he needs us to infiltrate human society first, place a beacon at a designated location, and guide the ship to land..."
Captain America widened his eyes at the bearded man, and T'Challa narrowed his eyes, saying coldly, "An interstellar pirate wants to invade Earth, who gave you the courage?"
"Stop wasting time talking to them." Diana's divine glow surged once again, she said, "The best way to deal with these aliens is to show them what we're capable of."
Just as she was about to dive down again, a pale figure slowly floated up, and extreme cold fell upon them in an instant.
Storm's long hair danced with the ice storm, her eyes turned all white. An arctic storm ravaged the entire scene.
With a swoosh, everyone was frozen in place.
The area outside the bar was unaffected, and people who didn't understand what was happening only felt a chill. Shiller, who had already retreated from the ring, walked in at this moment.
"If Yondu wants to come, let him come. With so many of us here, are we afraid we can't handle a pirate leader? Besides, if he is able to enter the Nine Major Kingdoms, he must have been allowed by Thor, maybe he's here to do business."
"In any case, we will wait for his ship to land tonight and see what trick he's trying to pull. Everyone, go.", he said.
After the freeze was released, both sides had lost their tempers. The human side was concerned about the ordinary people here, afraid that the other side might go berserk. On the other side, the pirates didn't dare offend the superheroes too much. On the one hand, they genuinely couldn't win the fight, on the other hand, any disruption to Yondu's plan would get them into big trouble.
Just as they were about to disperse, the humans in the tavern showed excitement, beginning to clap wildly, cheering, leaving the pirates bewildered.
The real big-bearded bartender who had been knocked out backstage rushed out, saying, "Today is a real celebration, let's have a wild drink!"
Apparently, this was his original line. But to ease the atmosphere and make the ordinary people believe this was a performance, Captain America very cooperatively raised his glass, saying.
"It was just a misunderstanding earlier, I'll cover the tabs."
"Oh!!!!!" Even more intense cheering erupted.
Captain America used a provocative look at the big-bearded man who had already walked to the back door. The big-bearded man grunted and loudly said, "Get everyone the best drink. My treat!"
Shiller quickly darted over to the bar and asked in a low voice, "How much is the most expensive drink here?"
"Uh ... about 68 US dollars?"
Shiller pulled T'Challa over and pointed to the beer barrels behind him, saying, "The best craft beer on Earth is, of course, Vibranium Special Brew. How much Vibranium can you add to this barrel?"
T'Challa's eyes widened as he looked at Shiller, and Shiller looked back at him.
After a stare off for several seconds, T'Challa looked left and right, and then lowered his voice like a thief and said, "We don't have that much stock right now, we haven't smelted it yet."
"Have you ever heard of futures?"
