Chapter 21

"AHHHH!" Mirabelle screamed in pain, the sharpness of her scream echoing through the room.

Javier swiftly placed the iron cane down and hurried over to her side. "What are you doing here?" he said as he held her arm.

"He's your best friend; how can you hit him?" Mirabelle retorted, her eyes filled with a mixture of pain and anger. 

Javier removed his hand from her arm.

"Leo," Javier called out, summoning his right-hand man. Leo swiftly entered the room, his surprise evident as he laid eyes on Mirabelle. How had she managed to get in here? He couldn't help but wonder if Isai had failed to watch the place.

'I can't trust Isai to do simple tasks,' he thought.

"Boss, you called me," Leo acknowledged. 

"Take her out of this place." Javier ordered, his gaze unwavering. 

"Okay," Leo said as he turned to face Mirabelle. His tone was polite. "Miss, please, can you come with me?"
