Shimmer Vs Gloom

Note I'll be calling the spheres of Gloom's and Shimmer's wands focuses from now on.

Gloom's POV.

As we used the waypoints to quickly get to Fontaine, I couldn't help, but notice how Father seemed ready to murder, "Father, are you alright?" I asked, not getting an immediate response.

"Don't worry Gloom, I'm fine." She reassured in a very angered voice, "You should be worried for someone else." She corrected, giving the point immediately.

At that I turned to Lynette who is standing beside me, "Right, this is the first time you ever saw Father when she gets defensive." She remembered, "Just be careful not to let her kill anyone." She informed.

Lyney quietly laughed at that, "Just in case though, we should still get the sand and lemon juice." He suggested, making me understand it was still a regular occurence.

I nodded at that as we stopped in front of the House of Hearts, "Say do we still have to do that if it's not Father who commited the murder?" I asked the two who nodded in response.

"Why do you ask?" Lyney questioned, to which I pointed to Shimmer beating the crap out of someone, "I see..." He said in understanding.

Shimmer's POV.

After I give the guy one last punch, I get up from his unconscious body, "And let that be a lesson to you." I say, laughing a bit cause I'm talking to a passed out idiot.

"Shimmer, what the hell happened?" I heard, turning to see Arlecchino, Lyney, Lynette and Gloom looking at me confused, "I mean, thank you for dealing with this, but why are you here?" She clarified her question.

I move my shoulder a bit to pop it, "I came here for some business deals, when I heard this commotion going on." I explained as I moved to pop my knuckles.

Turning to look at Gloom I smirked seeing the Vision on her ear, "Heya there! I haven't seen you since yesterday." I jokingly said.

"Hah hah." Gloom fake laughed, "Guess that's how you managed to get a Hydro Vision?" She asked, not sounding that insterested.

"Mmnnn yeah~" I say in a mocking manner, feeling my aggression towards Gloom increase, knowing she was also feeling it.

The moment I said that, Gloom took out her wand, confirming my suspicioun, to which I respond in kind by taking out my own, "Let's see which is better." I challenge.

"Mantras clashing." Arlecchino realized, stepping in front of Lyney and Lynette to defend just in case, "This can only end badly." She commented.

Third Person POV.

Shimmer started the fight by placing a stone in her wand's focus and using it to throw a trail of stalagmites at Gloom, taking her a bit off guard as she quickly moved out of the way.

Using her Vision, Gloom created three Cicins which she sent against Shimmer like rockets, only to be blocked by a wall Shimmer created, but the impact made it break, causing a few pieces to fall on Shimmer, who used her Vision to propel herself away, but unbeknownst to her, Gloom sent only two Cicins, only sending the third now, which managed to strike Shimmer from behind.

Having been knocked down from the backstrike, Shimmer used her wand to create a stone dome around her to recover a bit, while Gloom took a page from Shimmer's book, placing a rock in her wand's focus, creating a large hammer which she slammed on top of the dome, breaking it open, but not managing to strike Shimmer.

Having thought Gloom would have tried to break through the dome, Shimmer placed her Vision in the focus, creating another layer of dome with Hydro that was dense enough to result bouncy, causing Gloom to lose her balance when her hammer bounced back.

Lynette's POV.

"Shimmer really just got her Vision?" I asked Father who nodded in confirmation, "She must be really creative to be able to use it like that." I commented.

Lyney put a hand on the back of his head, "I mean, it makes sense, she must have impressed Focalors somehow after all." He pointed out.

I hummed, agreeing with what my brother said, watching as Gloom placed her Vision in the focus, using it to create a few cannons, "Isn't that a little much this close to the House?" I asked Father worriedly, seeing that she tensed up too.

"Yes, Yes it is." Father confirmed, dashing into battle when Shimmer also placed her Vision in the focus and started creating water, way too much of it.

Arlecchino's POV.

Putting myself between the two girls, I activated my Vision, generating two streams of Pyro that destroyed the Electro cannons and vaporised the water Shimmer was making, then dashed to the two, knocking them out to avoid escalation.

"That was way too close for comfort..." I commented, holding up the two knocked out girls, "Lyney, Lynette, go prepare two rooms in the House, and put their Visions and wands somewhere they can't find them, they need some time to get along." I explain, knowing that Clashing Mantras could be tamed one way or another.
