Arriving at an emergency decision, Chi Cheng unravelled the Qi barriers encasing the orb of Celestial Essence stored in the void space of his mind. Reaching into its depths, he was alerted by the absence of two of the five barriers but set the matter aside for a later period of leisure.

He was averse to the idea of exercising his Celestial Essence since he risked the possibility of triggering an alert with the Celestial Hunters or the Celestial Realm. He was wary of the fact that they would exhaust all means to track him down which meant tracking the use of his Celestial Essence was not completely impossible.

'I'll have to explain this to Huo Renyi later somehow…' Chi Cheng made a mental note, eyeing the Huo youngster briefly before he concentrated on the situation at hand again.
