A new friend Part IV

"Aren't you surprised?" Joke asked.

"Huh? Oh, about how your half can speak? I used to be surprised at that in the past.” He chuckled. “I’ve met a few halves that can speak before. I was shocked at first as well, but they said that there are some cards with built-in AI systems that allow those halves to speak and express emotions like the NPCs in town… This adorable little lady must be one of them.”

He then smiled at the said little lady after saying that, causing her to frown a little.

“Can you stop calling me that? My name is Snowbelle.”

"Snowbelle?" Dani raised his eyebrows before smiling. "Then, I'm sorry, Snowbelle. My name is Dani. Nice to meet you."

With that said, he then stretched out his hand to greet her. The young dragoness tilted her head in wonderment before shaking his hand.

"I will remember your name, Dani, especially when the food you made was amazing."

Dani laughed out loud, delighted, before turning to meet Joke's eyes.
