Chapter 22: Sengokou and Garp I

In a vast sea ocean, a warships is sailing and in one of the cabin of it, a man with two cigar on his mouth talkings to a weird looking snail. They called it 'Den Den Mushi' a communication device.

"This is Captain Smoker from Lougetown requesting for Fleet Admiral Sengokou " Smoker said in a serious tone.

"Copy... Wait in a minute and the Fleet Admiral line will be available!" A voice sound from the Den Den Mushi.

"..."

"Hello Smoker, do you have something to tell me" A middle aged man's voice came from Den Den Mushi .

"Fleet Admiral Sengokou, I have something serious to report, Sir." Smoker said.

"What is it?" The fleet admiral asked him with interest and confusion at the same time, because they can only call him if the matter is important.

"Sir, The 16th branch of marines in East Blue was annihilated, only one person survive" Smoker said in a heavy tone.

"WHAT!! ! *CRACK*" The fleet admiral loudly yelled and something broke can be heard. After hearing what Smoker said, he smashed his table with anger.

"Who is it?" Sengokou angrily ask.

"Fleet Admiral, his name is Lucifer Nightsky, a Devil Fruit user as well Haki too. I tried to fight him, but lost misery . I couldn't even make him sweat" Smoker said embarrassingly to the Fleet Admiral.

"Bwahahahaha, you are a really weak Smoker boy. Looks like Zephyr didn't teach you well" A deep laugh coming from the Fleet Admiral line can be heard.

"Garp shut up! This is a serious matter!" The fleet admiral yelled and it's look like the one who laughs is the Marine Navy Hero Monkey D. Garp.

"Sure sure" Garp nonchalantly said to Sengokou.

"Tell me all the details, Smoker." Sengokou then said seriously to Smoker.

"Sir we received a request for reinforcement from the 16th branch, because they want to take the Arlong's Pirate who extort the people on Conomi Islands to arrest him"

"And once we landed on the island we saw an unconscious marine that was on the shore line. We treat him immediately and once he wakes up, I inquire what happened and he tells me that a young man appears out of nowhere and stops them from arresting one of Arlong's crew and starts to fight them."

"He also describes how the young man finishes them easily. He and his comrade fall suddenly and some of them die and are unconscious. Luckily he was conscious and witnessed what happened, but suddenly they are in the sea now, to be exact in the depth of the sea and that's all the survivors remember, Sir"

"And after asking to let us guide towards a young man. I sense something weird about the villager, sir..."

"Don't hesitate, Smoker. You can tell me" Sengokou seriously said.

"They are scared of us, Sir."

"What? How's that possible! We are Marines the ones who maintain the peace" Sengokou shockingly said and also noticed something is not right.

"You can continue now, Smoker. I want to know all the things" Sengokou said.

"Yes Sir!... Once we arrived at the place of the Arlong's crew members, we didn't see any corpse of marines... Only the corpse of the Captain of Arlong's Pirate, Arlong himself and a young man looking at us"

"I asked him why he killed the marines, but only laughed loudly at us and..." Smoker stop at the end because this is where the secret is leaked. The people look on marines will definitely change.

"Smoker why did you stop?" Sengokou ask.

"Sir Fleet Admiral. I don't know what to say, but... Sigh" Smoker sighed in a sad tone.

"The young man asked us to question the survivor what they did. At first the survivor didn't tell anything, but when I ordered my comrade to point at the gun to him and pull the trigger whenever I said... He told us a shocking truth about what they did in the past year." Smoker said in a heavy tone.

"They collide to Arlong Pirate and accept their bribe to turn blind eye to what the pirates have done in the past year which is killing innocent villagers and extorting them. Also the marine 16th branch are torture and killing those criminal they catch and didn't report them. I went to their base and saw many evidence of what they have done " Smoker slowly said in a heavy tone to the Fleet Admiral who's in the other line.

"..." Sengokou couldn't speak at the moment, because of what he heard of Smoker. Also Garp who is on his side too.

"Smoker comes back at the Marineford immediately and brings all the evidence and the survivor. " Sengokou said and ended the call.

"This is really a huge problem..." Smoker shake his head and put down the Den Den Mushi.

Marineford

Sengokou who just ended the call look at Garp in his side and rubbed his head.

"Argh! This is a huge mess if this is leaked" Sengokou said frustrated.

"And lastly the young man named, Lucifer Nightsky, an unknown man." Sengokou called someone.

"Look anything about Lucifer Nightsky from East Blue and I need his information in an hour"

Garp look at his friends with a serious look. Although he knows that there are some mariners who are doing some illegal thing. The marines who station at 16th branch reach it limit.

"Sengokou what are you going to do about it?" Garp ask his friend even though he may know what he will do.

"What else but hide it or else the marines would lose its prestige" Sengokou look at his friends and said to him while he sat on his chair.

"Sighed... What about the young man, Lucifer?" Garp sighed and was right to his guess that Sengokou will hide what happened in Conomi Island. Then, he ask him again about the young man that Smoker tell to them.

"I won't do anything about him for now... Let's see what he does next before I decide what to do with him." Sengokou
