"Mr. Grul, the goblins are about 2000 or more in strength," Ian told the head, who let out a curse before nodding. He then ordered his men to prepare for a tough fight, while the five people slowly recovered.
After regaining their strength and mana, Ian's party is raring to have a go at the goblin once more.
"I will go to the front with Ana. Lisa stayed at the back and acted as a support. Ian, Fiona, used your magic to help along the way," Kell ordered them.
Slightly stunned by the fact the bigger man ordered them, he nodded before searching for where to help the army.
He soon spots a group that beginning to be overwhelmed by the incoming goblins.
"Shield!" multiple shields appeared around them, giving the overwhelmed group a breathing ground as they recovered before continuing their battle.
He walked around the battlefield, blasting hobgoblins with Arcane Shot. Fiona, who walked right behind him, did the same but at the lesser goblins, her magic not enough to kill a hobgoblins in one shot just yet.
"Looks like a group over there needs help," Ian said out loud, running towards the said group. Fiona followed behind him.
When they got there, they saw a group of three people surrounded by 5 hobgoblins, the bodies of two people lying under the feet of the hob.
"Strengthen, Recover," casting two spells at once, the surrounded guards feel their body getting stronger, along with the fact their fatigue is gone.
Taking an opportunity of this, the three guards charged at the hobgoblins, easily dispatching one of them, followed by the at the back. The remaining two hobgoblins retreated as they saw their kin being slain easily but did not manage to escape when swords pierced their back, right through their body.
The trio then spotted the two mages and were about to thank them when Ian shook his head. "Focused on the battlefield for now," the guards nodded as they began to seek more foes or groups to help.
They continue walking, casting support spells such as Recover, Strengthen, Refresh, and Shield, along with offensive spells such as Arcane Shot and Arcane Blast.
Sophia wished to cast her debuff spell but Ian advised against it. After all, without sufficient warning, it will be detrimental to their own force.
She accepted his reasoning and began to only cast offensive spells for now, blasting the lesser goblins with ease.

"And there's another one," Kell exclaimed, his sword cutting another hobgoblin in half. He did not know why, but he could not help but feel exhilarated as he continued fighting monsters.
'Am I a battle junkie?' he thought before he blocked another arrow with his shield before grabbing a goblin and throwing it at the archer.
'Or am I just an adrenalin junkie?' another goblin joined its brethren in learning the art of flying, with Kell's help.
'Maybe I should ask Ian?' he decided to do the one thing when he doubted himself, asking Ian.
He did not know but Ian enabling him as well as using him as a guinea pig make the two perceptions on what is normal skewed. Then again, they are in another world so maybe their thinking is normal here.

"Have this one," Ian threw a mana potion to Fiona, who accepted it. As for the man himself, he did not need to use mana potions except after being saved from being trapped.
His large mana reserves allow him to cast many spells while his own mana recovery is greater than most, allowing him to not need mana potion most of the time.
"Shied, Recover, Refresh," not to mention, that he discovered a nifty trick with his support magic. Namely, his magic, while using his mana, could even take the mana of the target. While this will affect spell casters, it will not affect other combatants too much.
The regular fighters that did not use mana will not feel anything except for his spell because they did not even use their mana reserve. As for the fighters that used mana, they will feel their mana reserves being used slightly but it will not affect them too much.
However, to prevent accidents, he makes sure to use only his mana when using his spells at such fighters and spell casters.
"Shield," another Shield blocked an incoming arrow, the fighter then charged at the goblin archer and killed them.
"Recover," a tired fighter feels their fatigue leaving them, allowing them to stand and battle against the incoming goblin.
"Refresh," another fighter joined the fight, laughing uproariously as he dealt the killing blow to a hobgoblin.
"Multi Arcane Shot," a large bombardment of Arcane Shot tore through another horde of goblins, their bodies being blown to pieces by his devastating attack.
"Arcane Shot," behind him, Fiona blasts another goblin that tries to sneak at Ian, killing the lesser goblin easily.
"Arcane Shot," Ian launched continuous Arcane Shot as he dueled with a goblin shaman, the spell caster parried his attack but was overwhelmed and killed.
"Here is a big one, Shield: Large Area Effect," he slammed his staff, and a large light emitted from him before hitting every single combatant on their side.
At that moment, Shield appears around everyone, making any attacks from the goblin ineffective. Realizing this, the head roared, "Charge!"
The guards and adventurers, realizing this charged toward the enemies, hacking and stabbing the goblins, who began to panic as they realized their attacks could not do any harm to their foes.
However, the one who cast the spell slumped, leaning on his staff as Fiona rushed towards him before feeding him a mana potion. He gulped the liquid greedily, feeling his mana reserves slowly being filled.
Unfortunately, his large mana reserves meant even with a mana potion, it would take some time before it was filled.
"Rest for now. With your spell, they can handle the goblins outside," Ian nodded as he sat and watched the goblins' force routed by the human force.

"We won!" the head announced, before looking at the mage who helped them at the very end.
"His spell allowed us to win this fight with few casualties," one of the guards said, lightly pressing on the wound on his shoulder.
"But why didn't he use it earlier?" one of the leaders complained.
"It must take a lot of mana. Not to mention with how hectic it is, casting the spell at such a large scale can only probably done once, and doing it early in the fight will not help much as we will still be in formation," one of the captains pointed out, with the one who complained grumble in agreement.
The head looked at the camp with a frown.
"Tell the men to be ready. The goblin chieftain is still not slain, and there are likely nasty surprises waiting for us inside,"
