A Fear Of Saying It

Stella arrived at her home feeling dejected. Hannah approached her daughter and saw how she looked very likely.

"Oh Stella, I told you not to get your hopes up."

"It's okay mom. Things will be back to normal in a bit, I just need to get some sleep," Stella replied and went to her room.

Nick walked over to his wife and saw his sad daughter. Now he knew about George and Amanda's past. He put his arm around Hannah and said that this would be a lesson for Stella, even if it was painful.

She entered her room and locked the door. Lying on the bed hugging her pillow, she buried her face in the pillow and began to release her pain. She was crying to a man she barely knew, it might sound really stupid when she thought back about it but she couldn't lie about this feeling.

Stella cried out all her pain and slowly fell asleep from exhaustion.

2 hours later, Hannah called her daughter for lunch. "Stella come downstairs, let's have lunch together."
