Meaningful Existence

Entering the following week, Amanda again went to the gynecologist to check on the condition of her baby with William. This time accompanied by William to go to the hospital because he also wanted to know about the baby's condition.

After dropping Lucas off at school, they headed to the hospital for a check-up.

In the waiting room, they sat together. William put his arm around Amanda's body and rubbed her shoulder.

"Thank you for accompanying me," Amanda said.

"No need to thank me, isn't it my job to do it?" he asked with a smile.

Amanda felt so happy that William was there with her.

She remembered when she was pregnant with Lucas, she had to go to the hospital alone in the middle of a snow storm. Alone feeling cold when she saw other women coming with their partners.

Now that William was with her, Amanda felt so relieved and very happy. She didn't expect to be pregnant with the second child of the man she loved and now come with him.
