Amanda sat pensively on a chair in the hallway of the hospital. Her gaze was so blank and tears kept flowing out of her eyes. She still couldn't accept the fact that she had lost William forever.
She didn't even think that the end of his life would be so tragic. The police had just received a report that the cause of William's car explosion was not due to engine damage but an explosive device found under his car.
A bomb that can detect heat before it explodes. Perhaps when William started the engine and it started to get hot, the sensor on the bomb turned on, blowing up his car.
She also remembered that morning when William had not yet gone to work. William hugged her tightly and said he missed her a lot.
"If I only knew... That was your last hug. If I had known it was my last time with you... I would have... Wouldn't have let you go," Amanda cried.
