Chapter 95 : Vampires Again

Orion only got an hour of rest before he had to leave for work. Considering what painful work Merlin had given to him, he had to start early. 

If he really wants to cure Daphne's sister, he first needs to know everything about her, and that too as fast as possible.

He first planned to visit Daphne's house but considering how strange that would be that he is visiting her house on the very first day he thought otherwise. So he decided to go to her house tomorrow. And he better get her family some gift after he shows up suddenly like an uncivilised person.

"Sigh, why it's always me...."

Now that this mighty task had been added in, he had to change his schedule a little bit. Almost all the time for rest has to be removed from his plan. In fact, he might not even get enough time to train.

After thinking about it, Orion decided that he would be only focusing on three things for the time being. One getting inside Gringotts and stealing the Horcrux, two curing Daphne's sister which undoubtedly will take most of his time and lastly, three, looking after his business. 

And if somehow he got some time by any miracle, he will also train a little.

With the plan in mind, Orion immediately got up. The first order of the business is to get that damn Horcrux before anything.

"Tom I am going out," He shouted and ran out.

One good part about leaving in the Leaky Cauldron is the quick access he have to the Diagon Alley. 

Getting in the Alley he started walking towards Gringotts, he currently didn't have any idea how he was going to reach the Horcrux but he would figure it out somehow.

Looking around he saw people giving him looks, but he didn't notice he as he was more focused on the Horcrux. Merlin though however was observing the situation pretty well.

[Hmm some of the looks are okay but others are not looking very nice] Merlin muttered to himself while getting a bad feeling about this.

[Orion]....

"..."

[Orion]...

"Hmmm"

[Oh come on, I know you are in a hurry but at least listen to me okay] Merlin chidded.

'Alright... but don't waste my time old man. I'm running quite busy no thanks to you,' Orion took a big sigh and said inside his mind.

[Forget about that for now, just sense around you and tell what you sense,] Merlin asked, and considering how he didn't needlessly prolong the conversation and directly ask him to take action, Orion too got a little serious and opened up his senses.

[What you sense] Merlin asked, being a ghost has its downside. He can't do magic and nor can he sense it well. This is the reason why he can only rely on Orion's senses to figure out his surroundings.

'Tch, give me some time, I am concentrating,' 

It was hard for him to find anything odd in this crowded place, so once coming closer to a shop wall, so that he wouldn't get in the way of the others, he started sensing any anomaly.

It took him some time but when he finally found it, his eyes widened.

"Vampires," He almost shouted but quickly brought his voice down.

[So that's why I was feeling like this] Merlin added.

'What the F they are doing here in broad daylight ?' Orion asked with a stunned expression and a little panic. 

He remembers that those bloodsuckers were after him. 

[Only they know the answer to this question, but both of us know a solid reason why they could be here. Now don't waste time in ideal chat. Quickly use magic and remove your scent and magical trace. Run back and keep on applying it. Remember your magical trace and scent is still in Leaky Cauldron] Merlin said.

"Shit, Tom is there," Orion eyes widen and he immediately waves his hands, magic instantly acting on his powerful intent.

And he started to backtrack his steps and remove any faint smell of his or magical trace.

Others can't do it, as they can't smell but Orion can smell even the slightest of smells with his nose, thanks to him absorbing a Vampire his senses were insane.

"Good thing these Vampires can't use magic, otherwise they would have found him a long time ago," Orion muttered to himself.

[True but the real question is how they come all the way here and why they are looking for you, with such pesistence] Merlin asked.

'Well it might be hard for you to understand but when once smell is so developed, it's not hard to pinpoint one's location. I can do it but only in a small area, this vampires are multiple times better than me when it comes to tracking,' Orion added.

[hmmm]

[They know that you are a student, they just can't enter inside Hogwarts otherwise they would have found you long before] Merlin said.

"Shit," Orion suddenly said.

'My smell must be with my other friends. I'm not worried about Ron or Daphne as both of them are from a wizarding family and from 28 Sacred at that, even Vampires have to think twice before attacking them. Especially when they realise by scent that they are not the person they are looking for. 

And Rose too is in Hogwarts right now, so no worries about it. But Hermione,' Orion thought inside his head and he started to get worried.

[Just send Red to her. If anything then Red can handle it.] Merlin said immediately.

'RED? Even though a Phoenix, ultimately RED is just a bird. What can....' Orion was saying but before he completed his sentence, Merlin interrupted him.

[Don't underestimate a Phoenix, my friend, you have never seen them fight before and that's why you are telling this] Merlin reassured.

This put Orion into contemplation but ultimately he nodded.

Orion after quickly removing all of his traces outside the valley, came back to Leaky Cauldron. And without wasting time, he moved in and started to remove his scent and magical trace.

"Phew, this should do it for now. But really, what the hell is wrong with those Vampires, that bastard attacked me first and killed RED. Do they really expect me to stay here and willingly let him eat me. Hell the moment he put his claw on RED he was dead," Orion complained about the Vampires and the time when he was attacked by one and how he killed his dog.

[Don't lose focus, you might have removed your scent and magical trace but .....]

But just when he was talking both of them sensed someone entering the bar.

'THIS....'

[Yes, they are here, or at least one of them.]

'But why, I remove all the traces and even suppress my own scent,'

[There are vampires with special powers, they are innate abilities.]

"Hell....what is this Twilight shit ?" Orion almost complained but got ready.

Now a fight was inevitable.
