Nanzhi handed over the silver, finally carrying the items in one hand and leading Yuanbao with the other out of the pawn shop.
Sun Cui was waiting for them at the tea stall near the entrance, and immediately stood up when she saw them leaving.
"How did it go?"
This was a tactic they often used when they went shopping.
She never thought that she would use it again today.
"We bought it." Nanzhi said with a smile.
"That's great." Sun Cui sighed with relief and glanced affectionately at Little Yuanbao's head.
"Yuanbao doesn't have to worry anymore."
Little Yuanbao felt both happiness and unease.
She was happy that they had bought the ginseng, which could help Yueyue's condition to improve. Although it couldn't cure her completely, it could at least prolong her life for a few more years.
The distress, however, came from the fact that her silver wasn't enough, and she had been away for six days already. She wondered if her father and the others were worried about her.
