AOT: Humanity's Last Stand Chapter Thirty Six: The Squad

It's been some weeks of training and it was finally the end of the Month.

As for what happened with Roxe, All of the Cadets were interrogated and the Military Police made a report, As for what the report was, It was evident that he was attacked and since the Cadets denied all the allegations, They wrote it off as another one of the instructors.

We were assembled in the field in front of the building as Keith Shadis, the man that didn't need water to survive.

"Cadets, Today's exercise will be a long one!" Keith shouted and we stood still.

"Each of you wastes will be assigned into Squads of Six and given a Carriage at Trost forest, Your assignment is simple, delivering equipment to our base in Derl Town,"

As for what I studied in some books here, There were districts but these districts were like small cities, There were actually villages and towns that weren't on the map. It wasn't that cool but what could I do about it? Besides it was on this trip that the Titan shifters planned to attack me, It would be better if I could go alone for the fight since I planned on capturing one of them.

"Also only two groups are allowed to reach Derl Town!" Keith shouted, "Attack your opponents, Destroy their Carriage, Their Cargo... But don't kill them,"

I wonder what this training exercise is all about, I mean delivering equipment and taking out your opponents won't be easy as we would have to divide ourselves into attacking squads and defending squads.

Well one thing is that I don't want Armin or Ymir on my squad, It'll totally lower my productivity because I'll be stuck with people I don't really like, As for what I hate in Armin, He's just so weak willed. Honestly I think taking the Colossal Titan was a total waste of time for the readers of Attack On Titan, It would have been better off with Commander Ervin, It's not like the plot would have changed it Armin had not gotten the Colossal Titan.

As for Ymir, The reason I hate her simply is because she isn't straight. I mean, The author of this world just included her as the first example that Titans could go back to their original forms if they ate a Titan shifter, She really isn't important and her character development sucked especially the way she behaved all the time.

For these reasons, I hate these two characters and as for my relationship with Krista, we've become a bit closer but my Shopping plans were canceled since she was busy, l couldn't really blame her.

"Alright, You have Ten minutes to decide your Six man squads!" Keith shouted, "Make it snappy!"

"Sigh... Armin, You calculated how long it will be until we reach Orn village," I said while holding onto the reins of the horses pushing the carriage forward, "And Ymir, stay away from Krista,"

"You're no fun," Ymir said with a pout.

"I can't believe I was put with the two people I hate," I muttered.

As for my Squad, including me, There was Krista, Ymir, Armin, Eren and Wanda.

I guess the titans were already making their move, and I was here waiting for them to go ahead so I could get what I wanted, Maybe the Armored Titan.

I furrowed my eyebrows as I snatched a look at Eren who was looking at Wanda with a blush staining his cheeks.

'He has a crush on her,' I muttered and looked forward, 'I guess I was joined with the worst team I could find,'

"When are we going to get there?" Ymir asked.

"If I'm calculating the route right, We might take a day or so," Armin said.

"And what are we supposed to be doing for that long?" Wanda asked, her voice shaky as this was the first time interacting with anyone in this group.

I turned to the girl and gave a warm smile.

"There are a lot of in carriage games you can play, and if you can't find them, You can always talk to Eren Jaeger that's staring at your face," I replied, causing Eren to blush, He had been caught in 10k!

Wanda turned away and I looked at the girl, she was cute but an Artificial Titan shifter from outside the Island, might as well kill her too I guess.

"Nice boobs though," I quipped, making her blush.

"Umm, Thank you?" Wanda said with a bow.

The Titan Shifters from outside the walls were great actors, You're planning to kill me yet you're so nice about it. Honestly, I want to break you even more now...

"Don't tell that guy Thank you, He's a complete douche bag," Ymir said.

"That's rude," Wanda asked.

"Yes, I know," Ymir said, "But you're not too bad yourself,"

Ymir moved her lips closer to the girl's forehead until she was met with a glare from emerald eyes, piercing her very soul.

"I dare you to try," Eren said with a growl.
