Bodyguard

"I want.. I want my brother in-law to become my bodyguard!"

I said aloud as I felt the room immediately fell quiet leaving everyone in shock and in awe.

Including the old Madame who was ready to grant any wish so far I was happy.

Did I do the right thing? I asked myself as I placed my head down in slight embarrassment.

"What are you talking about Ming Mei, you could have whatever bodyguard you want.. why would you choose your brother in-law, have you no shame!" Hui Li said slightly upset as I pouted.

"Mom don't shout at her, she can have anything she wants even though it's Jin ling… she can have him there's no problem in that!"

Ming Ciao said, as I felt her words shake Jin Ling slightly. He was still your husband, you could at least show some concern.

"Enough!" The old Madame said to shut both the mother and daughter up as she then sighed.

Truly I had a way of playing tricks with this old woman, no wonder she liked me more.
