Chapter 8 - Dance of Dead

Amidst the chaos and peril, the world unfolded through Magnus's perspective.

His heart raced as he sprinted towards Agha, his brilliant mind processing the dire circumstances with lightning speed.

The monstrous threat loomed over Agha, poised to deliver a fatal blow.

"That retard!" Despite his incredible intelligence, Magnus found himself agonizingly far from reaching Agha in time.

In an act of desperation and unwavering determination, Magnus began to chant an incantation.

A shroud of foreboding darkness enveloped him, and a curious mark etched itself on his forehead.

A mystical circle materialized before his eyes, it was the product of his crude energy as well as his strange ability.

In a voice both commanding and resolute, he uttered the words, "Crude Control: Appraisal Death"

From the intricate, something crude and dark resembling a magic circle emerged, a slender ray of energy, racing towards the monstrous creature.

In an ephemeral moment, the monster disintegrated into nothingness, vanishing without so much as a whisper.

Magnus's decisive action had saved Agha in the nick of time, and his allies watched in awe, grateful for his quick thinking and formidable magical abilities.

As the chaos and turmoil settled, Magnus rushed to support Agha, catching him in his arms as he fell.

In the midst of the tumultuous situation, Magnus maintained a calm and unshakable understanding of the gravity of the moment.

He couldn't help but admire the valor Agha had displayed, how he had shielded the defenseless child from the menacing threat.

This brave act stirred a distant memory within Magnus, one that harked back to a time when he had protected a peculiar, small, and endearing creature.

It was a memory that now held a special place in his heart.

For the first time in his life, Magnus felt a profound connection with another being.

This inexplicable bond allowed him to find someone who truly comprehended him, someone who had shared in the intensity of that life-or-death battle.

As Agha's consciousness began to wane, Magnus offered solace and support, recognizing that they had faced the same peril together and that Agha had risked his life to protect the innocent.

In that moment of shared understanding and vulnerability, Magnus acknowledged Agha as his friend, a sensation entirely foreign to him.

A gentle, heartfelt smile graced Magnus's face for the very first time, marking this newfound connection as a deeply meaningful one that would change the course of their lives.

In the aftermath of the perilous encounter, Agha's condition hung precariously in the balance. "This should do for now..."

Magnus, ever the resourceful thinker, cast a healing spell that temporarily staunched the flow of blood, providing a crucial reprieve.

Yet, Agha's situation remained a matter of life and death, and he required immediate medical attention.

With a resolute determination, Magnus gently lifted Agha and cradled the fragile infant, wasting no time as he sprinted towards the nearby town of Balkias.

Knowing that every moment counted in their race to save Agha's life.

As we wind flows, to the heart of Balkias, a captivating tableau unfurled before the eyes of our observers.

A troupe of dancers, practitioners of a traditional Middle Eastern performance, swayed in harmonious unison.

It was a display of remarkable skill, but what truly set it apart was the dynamic presence of one man among the five women.

His strength was evident in every fluid motion, as he effortlessly kept pace with the women, who danced with a relentless fervor.

The performance was a unique blend of skill and, intriguingly, a hint of concealed aggression, captivating those who watched and leaving them in awe of the dancers' talent and energy.

With the culmination of the dance, a round of applause echoed through the crowd.

Ava and Skin couldn't help but acknowledge the incredible strength and performance of the dancers.

Ava comments, "I must admit! that was incredible!!" to which Skin Remarks, "Indeed! The elegance of the dance was incredible, not to mention the precision"

He continues, "From my observation what made it the best, was the fact that they were actually moving without any care for each other's life!"

He further clarifies, "Which may sound ruthless, but at the end, it all simple comes down to skill and efficiency..."

Skin looks at the strange man, "Him, he was the one keeping everything in control, its not that the ladies are weak, he's just monsterously strong, as well as skilled"

Mia cuts in, with an unsatisfied expression, "You guys are over-reacting... What's so good about this? All I can see is, them moving around..."

Ava, Skin and Abacus, all looked at Mia shockingly, shouting, "What!?" to which Mia got embarrassed, she defends herself, "What are you staring at? Its the truth"

As if on cue, Abacus, the wellspring of knowledge, provided an introduction, "The man at the center of this spectacle is Zubair dy Doran, a name whispered in hushed tones throughout the town."

He continues, "Zubair's charisma is undeniable, and his five wives, Frya, Kureha, Hailey, Sasha, and Mina, only adds to his mystique."

His epithet, "Dy Doran," signified something special and exceptionally strong.

In his late twenties, Zubair epitomized handsomeness, dressed in traditional Arabic attire adorned with a rich tapestry of jewels.

While gold was conspicuously absent from his attire, every other gemstone known to humanity found its place.

Zubair's wives, attired in traditional Middle Eastern dance outfits, were a resplendent sight to behold, their allure irresistible.

Even Skin Ignis, a seasoned traveler and a connoisseur of beauty, found himself unable to divert his gaze from this enthralling quintet.

"Wow... Beautiful~" He fixated particularly on Zubair's wives, their allure rendering him momentarily speechless.

However, it wasn't long before Zubair, with a blend of anger and amusement in his voice, playfully demanded that Skin avert his gaze.

"Well... Well... What are you doing, staring at my wives? Huh? You twat!!" Skin was trembling with fear.

He took a step backwards, spins around, and shouts, "Everyone!! A round of Applause for my little friend here! He seems to fancy my beautiful wives"

Everyone in the crowd, cracks into laughter, "Hahaha!! You did the lad dirty!!"

Ava and Abacus, also starts rolling down on the ground with laughter, holding their stomach, "hahaha! We feel bad for you Skin!"

Mia also passes a smile, grinning and saying, "Even I have to admit that was indeed funny hahaha!"

He Startled and sheepish, Skin promptly apologized, his cheeks tinged with a rosy hue, "A-Ahhh I-Im S-So S-Sorry" with teary eyes.

In response, Zubair's laughter filled the air, revealing a more amiable and approachable nature beneath the initial stern facade, creating a sense of warmth.

"Hahaha! come-on man! Don't cry... it was just a joke! Hahaha!" As the ambiance teetered between tension and curiosity.

Agha's gaze then shifts at Mia, "Hey you..."

Zubair's abrupt question cut through the air, "What the hell is a monster like you doing here?" As killing intent covers the area.

It was a direct and confrontational inquiry, but far from taking offense, their group responded with a smile.

Mia leaned forward and addressed him, her voice carrying a note of appreciation, "I'm impressed... there is someone worth a nickel in this world as well"

This seemed to pique Zubair's interest, prompting him to inquire about her name,

"Who are you? And what do you mean by 'this world'?"

Mia introduced herself "Mia Drakaria, you can call me that... as for these three..."

Looking at Abacus and Skin, she says, "These two are my sworn brothers mess with them and you die!"

Shifting her gaze towards Ava, "And this right here is my sworn sister, i'll poke your eyes out and feed it dogs, if you dare even lay your eyes on her..."

Ava, Abacus and Skin are dumbfounded, there expressions are of confusion, wondering when the hell did they become sworn brothers and sisters.

Mia releasing an immense killing intent, shocking even Zubair himself, continues, "We are from another world, called here by some stupid entity, for some stupid scheme of theirs..."

Undaunted, Zubair in anger, shouts, "Huh??Another world? Did you think i'm as stupid as I look? Don't bullshit me"

Mia extremely pissed, veins popping out her forehead, ready for murder, immensely holding back her rage, speaks,

"I don't care you believe me or not... but if you dare call me a liar, i'll rip your tongue out, roll it up, and feed it to your soulless body"

Zubair, instead of being intimidated, gets angry as well, both of them, moments away from clashing. His wives also gets ready, to support the love of their lives.

However, before this challenge could fully materialize, Skin stepped in, between both of them, in a commanding voice, he offer a more comprehensive explanation.

"You two stop! This isn't the time or place to be fighting, let's talk first, you can fight after fully understanding the situation!"

Skin stares at Zubair, "You can decide what to do, after i show you something..."

Skin searches his wheelchair, where he finds a piece of paper, apparently the same paper that fell down the sky, the one that had their mission on it.

"Here's take this and see for yourself, this should be enough to prove our intentions..."

Zubair is curious as to what that is, "What the hell is it? Give me that..."

As he tries grabbing the paper from Skin, but a thunder strike is emitted from the paper, causing a massive BOOM.

Zubair gets angry, "What the hell you dare try to kill me!?"

When suddenly he notices that he's completely fine, and everybody else around him are fine as well, "What the hell was that?" Says Mia in shock.

Skin with his incredible intellect, as well as his incredible observation, sheds light on the situation, "I believe that... No one other than us can hold this paper..."

Zubair is still not convinced, He tries holding the paper one more time, and BOOM, the same thing happens.

Zubair then calms down, and tries to access the paper from a distance, "I've never seen s material like this anywhere..."

He then looks at Skin and others, "You... You guys are really from some other world... My eyes never lies for a material!"

To which Mia and others, smiles, with Mia acting grumpy, "Well! Told ya! A Darkaria never lies!!"

Zubair Dy Doran... A weird name isn't it! but don't we all have weird names? a name's a name, weird or not, it all depends on your perception!!
