Rumor (Part 2)

"People nowadays are so ambitious. Just because they receive a littlr bit of attention from Professor Frans, they think they can transform from a chicken into a phoenix and even want to replace others' positions. It's really laughable!"

Amalia remained unfazed, as if they weren't talking about her.

Instead, that person became more irritated since they didn't get the reaction they wanted, ehich further fueling their defiance.

That person then grabbed their companion and returned to their original seats.

"What's wrong?" the companion asked in confusion.

The person snorted, "Why should we leave? If someone had any shame, they should leave on their own."

The companion nodded in agreement, "You're right."

As other classmates arrived, the seats around Amalia gradually filled up.

Once again, there was a void around her, much like when she first arrived.
