"So, she knows who the father of the child is, and she knows what she can get if she gives the child to the father," Wendy Clarke said.
At this point, Mrs. Lopez's expression finally turned serious.
Wendy had finally touched on her weak point.
"Cindy Clarke didn't go looking for him with the child, but it doesn't mean she never will," Wendy said, "If one day, Cindy finds life unbearable, she might take the child to find Mr. Lopez..."
Mrs. Lopez frowned: "That makes me wonder, with such an option available, why did Cindy go to Belfard with the child in the first place?"
"If she had told my husband about the child's existence from the beginning, things would have been a lot easier for her," Mrs. Lopez said.
"I don't know this either, I've never known her thoughts," Wendy shook her head, "Or maybe, when she left, she had actually broken up with Mr. Lopez and had already taken his money."
