Facing the Golden Soldiers .

Kai Syaoran spent his time in the castle discussing cultivation with Ran Lan while being harassed by Wela who insisted that he go visit her parents. 

Kai Syaoran had also noticed Wela's breakthrough and even he was shaken by how powerful she had become in so little time. This was the effect of having a powerful bloodline and the talent to utilize this advantage.

At night, Kai Syaoran went back to cultivating the World Engraving Sutra and the Fiend Soul technique. His Spiritual power was growing rapidly and he had already reached the third writing of the the World Engraving Sutra. 

Everything was going just perfectly but he still had a few problems that needed sorting out. The first was that he had one week to go to the Sea Martial Sect and make a deal with them. 

He was planning on using Rune as a long-term base until he could find something more appealing. This necessitated him being on good terms with the most powerful force on the planet.
