"Little Evelyn, I'm fine now, you don't have to keep running to me like this." Ella Jackson opened the door and looked at Evelyn Sherman, who had just come from the supermarket with big and small bags to cook for her, feeling guilty.

"I'm free today anyway, so I might as well come over and keep you company, plus it's nice to have someone to eat with." Evelyn said as she brought all the groceries to the kitchen.

"You go sit in the living room for a bit, I'll call you when the food is ready, and after we eat, I need your help with something."

"What's the matter?" Ella leaned against the kitchen door frame, curiously tilting her head to look at Evelyn.

"I have no free hands right now, we'll talk after we've eaten." Evelyn tied her apron and began busily working in the kitchen.
