Chapter 34: The Matriach Of The Sterling Family

Aisha immediately calmed down upon hearing John mention Anna and worriedly looked towards her. She saw that Anna was shivering in fear and had teary eyes.

"Please forgive me, sweety. It's alright. Mama was just a bit angry. Nothing happened. Calm down, my little bundle of cuteness," Aisha immediately hugged Anna and started patting her back in an effort to calm her down, with a guilty look on her face.

Aisha just couldn't control herself at the mere mention of those people. In her angered state, she completely overlooked Anna's presence and unintentionally leaked her killing intent throughout the room.

From the corner of her eye, she saw that both Alice and John had completely pale faces, and John was even supported by Nella to prevent himself from falling down, making her feel even more guilty.

After a little bit of patting, Anna completely calmed down and asked curiously, "Mama, why were you so angry?"
