Episode 3.4 My Son
A long procession of ambulance and police cars flooded the intersection less than a minute after the terrorists escaped. It was just like in the movie. They came late for the fight but on time to clean up the mess. However, Bai Tingfeng did not have time to exchange pleasantries with them as he hurriedly dispatched his remaining men to chase after the three cars.
Shen Yuan was about to jump into the driver's seat when Bai Tingfeng tugged his right arm.
"You are not going with us. Go home and wait for us. It won't take long, and I will come back with Yanyan," The alpha said somberly.
"What do you think you are doing? Don't touch me!" Shen Yuan tried to shake off the hand grasping his arm firmly. It was not painful at all, but the clutch was so solid that he couldn't break away from it. "Let me go! I won't wait for you when I am more than capable of hunting those bastards myself!"
"There is a possible S-Class summoner mage in their midst. Do you think you can face off against a foe of that caliber just because you do cardio and pilates regularly? You saw how vicious his attacks were. Just one wrong move and that will cost you your life!" Because of the stubborn insistence of omega, Bai Tingfeng's voice raised for a few decibels.
After taking in all the noise from Bai Tingfeng's mouth, Shen Yuan's ears buzzed.
That is not just all. The veins in his forehead are about to pop at any moment. For the first time, someone dared to underestimate him! Absolutely deplorable! Unforgivable! Yes, he may be an omega now, but that doesn't mean that he is someone he could treat like a doormat!
"Bai. Ting. Feng!" Shen Yuan's small mouth let out an ear-splitting roar. Everyone on the highway stopped in shock as they all felt the vibration in the air that accompanied the scream of the omega.

"I was just distracted earlier because of the black hole that appeared. It just seemed to be familiar to me. But don't worry, I will make you inhale the dust that I will make once I fight them off," He grabbed the alpha's hand and forcibly tore it away from him.
Shen Yuan made his way towards the other car since an annoying male lead was standing in front of the door to stop him.
"Take him," Bai Tingfeng's authoritative voice sounded behind him. In an instant, the security personnel of the Bai Family surrounded him with two of the tallest and bulky alphas holding his two arms, restraining him. Shen Yuan did not struggle. He snappily looked back at Bai Tingfeng, his eyes wide with disbelief. If the veins in his head were visible, everyone would see that it was about to pop.
This alpha really dares to push all his buttons until he explodes, huh?!
"I really appreciate your willingness to save Yanyan. However, It is best for you and us if you don't meddle. That will save us from trouble," Bai TIngfeng meaningfully said, his eyes showing complicated emotions that a celestial fox spirit couldn't fathom.
"And maybe before you yell that you want to help Yanyan, you should come to terms with the fact that the kid you were referring to was your son. Please don't use your amnesia as an excuse to hurt the feelings of a small child."
Shen Yuan froze where he was standing. A jolt of pain suddenly assaulted the very center of his chest. It was his heart throbbing for a reason unknown to him. What the hell is going on? Suki, the celestial fox spirit, wondered while blankly looking in the thin air.
Seeing that his omega husband was defeated and not struggling, Bai Tingfeng commanded his men and the others to chase after the kidnappers immediately. Their cars split to follow the three SUVs that could hold their son. Those kidnappers cunningly drove in three different directions to shake them off.
However, with the Bai Family's trained men, the Baihu Guild, and the police, it won't be hard to trace them.
On the other hand, Shen Yuan was caught in a dilemma. All this time, he was subconsciously looking at everyone in this world in a third-person point of view, like how it was in the manhua. "Let me go. I can escort myself back to the car," Shen Yuan said in a daze.
The security personnel holding his arms like a prisoner gulped hard and slowly let go of Shen Yuan.
"We apologize, Master Shen," said one of the tall alphas. The man awkwardly adjusted his radio earpiece. And there, the cunning fox spirit saw the faint redness on the alpha's ears. A mischievous glint flashed in his eyes.
"I understand that you are just doing your job. If there is someone I should be burning to ashes, then it should be your boss." Shen Yuan comfortingly patted the backs of the two alphas. The two unsuspecting, trained men of the Bai Family blushed brighter because of the simple gesture of Shen Yuan. Their chest was beating hard due to nervousness.
They continued their walk until the three walked past the two wrecked cars. All of a sudden, the omega with platinum color stopped near the one with the torn car door. It was empty now, but the mess inside remained.
"That should be the car where my son was riding, right?" Shen Yuan suddenly said. His tone was flat and devoid of emotion, but his entire body was faintly trembling.
"Master Shen must be sad because of what happened to the Young Master!" The two alpha guards concluded. They could feel the gloominess coming from the omega, so they did not stop him when they saw Shen Yuan walking towards the wrecked car.
Shen Yuan saw a fluffy plush toy lying on the ground. It was an orange-furred grinning fox that must belong to Yanyan.
The two alphas averted their eyes when they saw the pitiful omega pick up the Young Master's favorite toy and kiss it. It was simply painful seeing a father whose heart was silently breaking his heart due to their son's disappearance. What they knew on the surface was Master Shen was absent in the early years of the young master's son. They have unspoken opinions about it, but seeing how the omega is acting now, they realize that in a way— probably— their Master Shen loves the Young Master.
"Squad 4. Are you on your way home now? Make sure to protect Master Shen. It is still unknown who is the main target of the perpetrators. It is best if he is at home in no time. Copy that?" says the man on the other end of the radio.
"This is Squad 4. We are about to leave the scene now," answered one of the bodyguards.
On the other hand, the second bodyguard looked at his partner confusedly. "Wait, did they radio something to you? Why I can't hear anything?"
He raised his hand to touch his earpiece to adjust it. However, his hand landed on nothing where his earpiece was supposedly placed. The fooled, trained bodyguard of the Bai Family looked like his face was bleached. It was devoid of the blush that it once had earlier.
"Wait, I think I dropped it somewhere. I will look for it."
However, the other bodyguard was quick to catch something. "No, wait! Where is Master Shen?"
No, they are wrong. They are too slow to notice that Shen Yuan has slipped past their well-trained sense. Even if they tried, none of them could see how Shen Yuan inhumanly sprinted to chase after Bai Shengyan.
"We are going to die." The two poor bodyguards fell on their knees, imagining the end of their careers.
Meanwhile, inside a black mini-van, a little boy discretely opened his eyes. He made sure that his movements were small and negligible as he tried to study his surroundings. The pounding of the little boy's heart was disguised by his relaxed breathing as if he was still sleeping.
"Papa… Daddy… Yanyan is in huge trouble!" Bai Shengyan whispered inside his head.
