Tortu-ahem! Training the student.

---- 3rd pov ----

The place was quiet, and the training ground was empty, except for two people with wooden swords facing each other from ten meters away.

The reason for the training ground to be silent was that it was inside the heroes' mansion, where they utilized space magic to stretch the small area from 50 meters to 150 meters for training.

Two strikingly beautiful teenage women faced each other. One, with luscious black hair and black eyes, wore a sports bra under her white tank top.

The other woman, also with luscious black hair but complemented by purple eyes, donned a black tank top and a sports bra underneath, keeping their chest wrapped tightly.

Both wore baggy knee-length shorts, ensuring unrestricted movement during their training.

Outside the sparring space, a boulder sat quietly. Upon it, a young man with white hair and closed eyes sat, legs folded gracefully. An aura of warmth radiated from his serene presence, enveloping the surroundings in a comforting radiance.

Back on the training grounds, the woman with black eyes raised her right hand and swiftly gestured for her opponent to come forward with a confident 'Come on.'

Responding to the challenge, the woman with purple eyes closed the distance between them with an impressive burst of speed.

To any normal human observer, the scene appeared as a blur of black and blue. The woman with purple eyes moved with lightning speed as she closed in on her teacher.

This was one of the daily practices of sparring sessions to showcase the student's progress and growth under the guidance of her teacher.

The girl with the purple eyes moved with remarkable speed, but even so, her teacher was faster, and she noticed some openings and unnecessary movements in her sword play.

Gracefully evading the girl's swift and powerful strikes, the teacher mercilessly and bluntly pointed out areas that required refinement.

The girl's unique skill, "Mathematician," allowed her to foresee the future by analyzing her opponents' movements.

However, her teacher's speed and techniques rendered it ineffective, leaving her unable to anticipate her teacher's every move. It was like her analyzing powers had vanished, unable to keep up with her teacher's beautiful yet terrifying swordplay.

This was Shizue Izawa and Hinata Sakaguchi's sparring session every morning, and Karna would oversee the training while simultaneously meditating.

---- Karna Pov ----

After watching for several hours of Shizue tort-ahem! training Hinata, Shizue swiped her sword with an overhead slash, and Hinata tried to block it by placing her sword horizontally, but the impact from Shizue's slash broke her sword in two.

Just like always, she couldn't hold a handle against us because her unique skills would not work on us as our bodies and souls are made out of pure spiritrons.

"You did well, Hinata. Not everyone can fight this long, and you even evolved into an enlightened one after just two weeks of training." Yes, that's right, her growth rate is still massive because of her unique skill. Just because her skill won't work on us doesn't mean she couldn't use "Mathematician" on herself and improve her constitution.

"I will teach you to use "Arts,", and yes, I will allow you to analyze them." Her face lit up slightly because she couldn't analyze anything done by us these two weeks; she understood that not everything can be done easily.

"As you know, we humans have more spiritual energy than any other race, but we don't have any intrinsic abilities. But to compensate for that, we have an increased fertility rate, and naming doesn't cause weakening of the parent." I explained to her that, as she listened attentively, Shizue was now sitting on top of the boulder that I had sat on, with her eyes closed.

"Arts are what we call a mixed technique; that is not pure magic but neither skill; it is the use of spiritual energy in conjecture with our aura and magic to produce a certain effect."

"Arts can be anything; even covering a sword with magic can be called art. I will show you one of mine; this is the first one I made."

"Flame burst" Jumping away from them as I made distance between them, searing hot flames covered my body as Hinata stared at it in fascination, analyzing it. I had allowed it after all.

Basically, because I don't have a need for this anymore and I wanted to pass my arts down to a worthy enough person, as we—I and Shizue—had our bodies remade with spiritrons when we evolved.

Our travel speed, reaction speed, combat speed, and all other physical actions have breached what we call the "speed of light" category, and our strengths have also adapted to accommodate the strain of us going light speed or even further.

Naturally, we are already the most powerful humans in the universe as of now, with physical strength enough to crush a planet and spiritual strength enough to crush souls if we unleashed our 'Haki' unrestrained.

"I will allow you to analyze this technique to the fullest, every smallest bit, so use it carefully and use it to improve your own techniques," I declared as I gifted my student one of the most powerful techniques to ever be made.

"One more thing: this will zap your magic quicker than any other art you have seen, so don't use it carelessly and willy-nilly." I gave her my advice as I made a body double and had it use "Flames Burst" for her to analyze.

I made my way towards the now-open-eyed Shizue, who was smiling at Hinata. Seeing our student practicing and improving must be a very proud moment for her. After all, if even I could take pride in my teaching, she should take twice as much because she's an excellent teacher, even better than me.

"She'll become a great person someday; I'm sure of that," I said as I sat next to her and hugged her. She leaned her head on my shoulder as she nodded.

"Hm, of course she would; we taught her after all." Oh, she's taking way too much pride in this. Well, who could blame her? I could only sigh as I looked to the side, where the now-fire-clad Hinata was zooming around the ground in excitement. Even though her face was completely devoid of emotions, we could sense her happiness.

"Her unique skills are way too powerful for a human, but I'm glad we took her in and made her understand that relying on her unique skills would be a disaster waiting to happen." I said as I thought about the consequences of what would happen if an enemy could block her unique skills like we could and she was solely relying on her unique skills. That thought made me shiver.

"That's true, but now we've solved that problem, so we shouldn't worry too much." Shizue said as I snorted, Like you are one to talk—she gave Hinata her old sword, a rapier, which is a unique-grade weapon that can be enchanted by a powerful enough blacksmith

Of course, I didn't say that out loud because I didn't want to hurt her feelings—totally, not because of the fear of the couch. Well, the funny part is that she never did banish him to the couch, but he has seen his mother do it to his father, and the horrified look on his father's face as he went to the couch.

"We'll have to be careful, because we broke the world's laws by becoming a new species that the creator never created," I said with little worry evident on my face, but it began to fade away as a gentle hand took my face from either side and turned it to the side where I met the warm eyes of my partner, the eyes that became the reason for my quickened heartbeat.

"Well, let's face the future head-on, and we will be in this world together forever, so it's fine." She said it with a gentle smile, and I couldn't help but press my lips to hers as I felt everything in the world fading away except for us.

'We shall face it then, for eternity, if that is what I have to do.' We both swore it to each other.

So, how was this chapter? If you liked this, put some reviews in there. We don't have enough ratings currently, so let's hopefully change that!

Don't forget to drop some stones; there is no need to be shy about it.

And we are quite close to the canon timeline right about now; the next 40 years will be a blur, and the canon will start.

Am I taking the romance too far? I don't feel it but I don't know if it is affecting the story so I will need the reader's perspective on this, so help a brother out here.

[I didn't have that much response to this question so I'm asking once again.]

Do you want the Freedom Academy on-screen or off-screen? And Hinata Sakaguchi has entered the stage, as our volume 1 will end in one or two chapters.

If you want the Freedom Academy on-screen, I will do some flashback chapters when I eventually have to recharge my imagination a bit, so what do you say? my dear readers? Also, I will try my best to stack some chapters ahead of time from now on.

Good luck, and God bless you.
