Planting The Mountains

Meanwhile, after leaving Father Li's house, Lu Jueyu and Li Chenmo returned home. Since it was still early, they decided to go to the mountain. Knowing that his eldest brother had also gone there, Li Chenmo chose a different route.

As they ventured into the mountain, Lu Jueyu noticed mushrooms, wild vegetables, and wild fruits growing densely. This path was hard to traverse and quite distant from the village, so no one else used it besides them.

Looking at the free resources around her, she suggested, "Husband, let's forage for mushrooms and pick some wild fruits first before we go to the mountain."

Seeing his wife's bright eyes, Li Chenmo nodded with a smile and readily agreed, "Okay." 

Lu Jueyu retrieved tools and two bamboo baskets from her space. Thanks to their tacit understanding on dividing their works, the two of them managed to gather all the mushrooms and fruits in under two hours. They also picked wild vegetables along the way.
