Chapter 50

The snake like Voldemort didn't reply and the handsome one continued on.

"Looks like my future-self died like an utter idiot. It's so embarrassing to be killed by your own spell while also being unable to harm a baby, heheheee"

Angered by his younger self, he snapped his fingers and ropes sprung out of thin air before they wrapped up the younger Tom Riddle's body.

The door opened the moment he was captured and Voldemort headed to the next room.

The levels were quite easy for him as he only had to play a few games that tested the limits of his wandless magic. The same thing happened with Dumbledore who seemed to struggle a little compared to Voldemort.

They did now know how much time had passed and continued on. They felt completely energetic even after what would've been some of the most exhausting tasks if performed outside the weird place.

Dumbledore passed through twenty doors while Voldemort could go on until the fiftieth one. The colour of the door changed from white to black and they felt the connection to their wands being re-established.

A few words formed on top of the door like before.

[All-rounder Test]

The two of them passed through the door and began taking tests that challenged their knowledge and ability on various subjects such as transfiguration, runes, charms, arrays, alchemy, dark arts and potions.

Transfiguration was something that both of them were extremely knowledgeable about and aced the tests.

While Voldemort was better at dark arts and potions, Dumbledore had utterly destroyed Voldemort's limits in charms, runes, arrays and alchemy.

The final test was the combat ability test where they began with XXXX level Demiguise and Runespoor (a 3 headed serpent. Left head being the planner, middle being the dreamer and the right head being the critic.) to Dragons and Nundu.

(Nundu is a huge leopard that's super stealthy and its breath causes dangerous diseases.)

While Voldemort used some of the most fierce dark magic, Dumbledore fought for a longer time by using elemental magic and other useful spells from his vast array of knowledge.

It felt like months but they were both not sure about it as they couldn't quite get a touch of how time flowed. Their forgetfulness increased as time went on and they felt like they were in a loop.

Dumbledore sighed as he stared at the eight dragon corpses in the large room while his burnt up body healed.

'I'll get healed every time a duel is done and I also recover all my magic. At the start it was hard to notice as I barely used any magic and never got hurt… but now that each fight brings me closer to death and forces me to use up most of my magic, it is a bit too obvious now.'

He turned towards the door that felt unfamiliar. He had been opening black door for almost an eternity that a red door felt extremely unfamiliar.

After his body had completely recovered, he headed over to the red door which also had a few words written on it.

[The final test. The last one alive, will get the reward.]

He entered the door and the moment he entered, he felt the same headache that he felt at the beginning.

He felt like he was being moved to another place but the surroundings looked exactly the same. Except, there was another person in the room.

Voldemort stared at the old man who had mysteriously appeared in the room. He knew that there was a final opponent but he didn't expect it to be Dumbledore.

"Avada Kadavra!"

Dumbledore identified who it was from the voice and instinctively pointed his wand at the floor, turning it into a wall to block the incoming spell.

While Voldemort was completely on the offensive, Dumbledore only used spells that were defensive in nature and mostly evaded the spells in one way or the other.

The pain in his head subsidised, enabling him to think more clearly as both his hands were already busy as he casted magic with his wand and wandless magic with the other, albeit low level.

The fight went on and on as Dumbledore slowly went on the offensive. Flames, lightning, water, rocks and jets of sparks flew everywhere as they battled.

As time went on, Dumbledore seemed to have been getting stronger and stronger while Voldemort felt an immense oppression from his opponent. There seemed to be something employed that prevented them from talking and only let them use spells.

No one knew how long it went on, but the final result was the defeat of Voldemort as he was lodged into the wall due to a spell from Dumbledore before disintegrating into particles.

Thick black mist was formed in the telephone booth as Quirrel's body was rotting at a speed visible to naked eye. From under the ground, a small vial of potion came out before it broke and the liquid inside evaporated, mixing with the black mist.

Slowly, the mist condensed into a body. A body that was eerily similar Voldemort's. The body was extremely skinny like it had no flesh. Even then, the skull like face seemed to be smiling.

"Hehehe… I am ba-"

A bright light shone inside the phone booth before exploding.

Dumbledore woke up in the same hut and was extremely disappointed in himself for being tricked as he got nothing. As soon as Voldemort had disintegrated into particles, his head hurt and was sent back.

The weird platform and Quirrel's body were not in the hut anymore. He was about to move out when he saw an extremely scrawny man appear right outside the hut.

He seemed to have no nose and his eye sockets were filled with black mist.

"Looks like you only got back half of your body."

"Dumbledoree!" His voice was feeble but for some reasons, it sent shivers up Dumbledore's spine.

Without wasting any time, dumbledore struck him with a stunner. Voldemort wanted to move but he was extremely weak and his senses weren't sharp.

The moment the spell made contact with his skin, his body exploded and from the explosion, a clump of black mist flew off.

'I…. will…. come…. back….'
