We continued our conversation while walking towards the meeting place, which was Ipoz. Seba's supplier desired to meet me in my territory and I complied. Eventually, the four of us reached Ipoz, but Seba was nowhere to be found.
Impatiently, Eman asked, "Where the fuck are they?" He squatted down to rest his legs on the Debris-littered floor filled with glass, trash, and needles.
"They should be here already. If they don't come, we're all doomed," I muttered, nervously biting my nails.
Minutes went by, and my anxiety rose. Suddenly, I heard a car sound, and it parked at the front door. I rushed towards the shattered window to get a glimpse of who it was. It turned out to be Seba, two other men, and an old man.
I quickly wore my mask and commanded, "Boys, get ready! They're here! Fix your hair, adjust your suits, look perfect and intimidating!"
Eman, David and Darjan pulled their suit up and hid their guns on the back of their pants, their expressions growing serious and menacing. Standing firmly behind me, they projected an aura of danger, ready to kill.
Seba and the people climbed up the unstable stairs, the sound of their footsteps echoed in my ears. With each footstep, my nervousness heightened, making my hands sweaty. Finally, I caught sight of their heads ascending, and among them, my eyes locked onto the figure of the old man who carefully examined each of us. It was crystal clear to me that he held a position of authority, being Seba's boss.
The old man singled me out and greeted me with "Wie geht es dir."
Puzzled, I looked at him and replied, "I'm sorry, I don't understand."
Seba quickly greeted me and translated his question, "How are you? the old fart said"
Without warning, the old man playfully slapped Seba on the back and exclaimed, "Don't call me old fart, I'm not that old!"
It looked like the two of them were close.
To my surprise, he spoke English fluently. "Oh, so you speak English?" I inquired.
"Yeah, kid, I was just messing with you. How are you doing?" he responded.
"I'm doing well. And how about you?" I asked.
"I'm good. You're an interesting young man," he said.
"How so?"
"Well you got three men behind you two of them armed and the other with a knife hidden in his pocket."
"ha ha ha" i laughed nervously, attempting to maintain my composure. "Ah, it's nothing really, But I must say, you have excellent observation skills," i praised the old man.
The old man chuckled. "Thank you, it's just a habit I've developed over time in this line of work."
After a bit of talking with the old man he stepped away to light a cigarette, allowing me and Seba to conduct our business. We settled on a purchase of 1500 ecstasy pills for the price of $4500. He then handed me a Ziplock bag that was filled to the brim with ecstasy pills of different colors, creating a vibrant rainbow-like appearance.
I checked the bag's weight and confirmed that it contained the promised number of pills. Satisfied with the transaction, I handed over the payment to Seba, and he nodded in approval. he and his men then quickly made their way out of Ipoz. on the other hand The old man waited till Seba got down the stairs and said.
"The Nameless and the founder of The Hidden Society, truly impressive,"
I chuckled and rubbed my hair. "Thanks."
"Young man, if you need anything, call me. I have a feeling you'll change the whole country in the near future," the old man said before handing over his business card.
"Well, we'll just have to wait and see." Then I looked at his business card and continued, "Dietrich, huh? A German name I'm guessing?"
"Correct. I live in Germany, but I needed to do some business in Slovenia and, of course, restock Seba with ecstasy," Dietrich explained.
"Since you're all the way from Germany, how do you pass ecstasy through the border?" I asked, curious.
"Don't you know the EU agreed to gradually remove controls at their internal borders and to introduce freedom of movement for all nationals of the signatory countries? For us suppliers nad overall criminals, it's the best thing those dumbass politicians could do for us," Dietrich replied with a laugh.
"That's definitely useful information, thanks. And do you know why the police are so active in Trbovlje?" I asked, hoping to gather more intel.
"Not really, but I did notice a lot of police patrolling Trbovlje as we headed here. I assume some kind of mafia family or gang is making big moves," Dietrich said.
I realized that the Krasniqi family was moving their drug dealers to Trbovlje to receive the ecstasy I was supplying.
"That's a risky move for Adem. A lot of drug dealers are most likely getting caught, and because of that, the police surely know something is up," I thought to himself.
"Well, Dietrich, thanks for the info, and it was nice to meet you. Hope we can do business together in the future," I said, hoping to keep a good relationship with the old man.
"I hope so too," Dietrich said before turning his back and leaving the building.
As Dietrich left, we grew excited about the prospect of turning a huge profit.
From a sudden burst of energy Darjan exclaimed, "Yea, bitches, that's how we fucking do it!"
"Hahaha, boys, expect to receive a juicy fucking raise!" I added, feeling the same excitement.
Everyone was eager to move the products and turn a significant profit. To avoid drawing unwanted attention, I hid the pills in that small kids backpack I purchased from the Chinese store a few hours earlier and gave it to Eman.
"Walk home slowly and normally, don't draw any attention and when you get home hide the ecstasy well." I ordered Eman
"Aight bro"
It was a good thing Eman didn't question me back then, as it would have been a pain in the ass. David and Darjan went home without a worry, but Eman and I still had the stress of carrying the illegal drugs with us. if he gets caught I get fucked in the ass as well because Eman would definitely snitch under heavy stress, so I needed to make sure he doesn't get caught, but I was powerless in this situation, so I left it to fate and went home.
Thankfully while reading a book in my room I received a text from Eman that he made it without getting caught. A sigh of relief escaped me when I read the message. Imagining the potential financial gains that awaited me the next day, a wave of excitement and anticipation coursed through my veins.
