"Ahh so your mother is a pilot and your father an auditor" I murmured in interest as he helped me pack everything around the grocery store.
So far we only had seven customers "But why did you live here if your parents are rich if you don't mind me asking?"
"I-I don't mind it's because mom is always traveling and papa since he is an external auditor so I came here to live with grandma" he answered as he gave me a pack of noodles to put away.
Surprisingly the guy was efficient worker and a quick learner so it wasn't hard to work with him and made things a lot more easier. Easton on the other hand has arrived and I will go in early and have been sitting in his mother's office last time I checked reading the biology book.
I was so convinced that he was an aspiring biologist but because of his family he had to study business. John was back on the register and despite his quite lazy look he was also efficient in his job and was very quick.
"Soft life" I jokingly said referring to the careers of his parents.
"I-I w-wish" I sighed as I knew what he meant, and since he didn't want to talk about why they were hitting him I doubt I'd find out about the reason anytime soon.
Changing the topic I asked if he had traveled "Y-Yes bu-but it was last year." we said our conversation which flowed apparently he had been to the Netherlands to celebrate his mother's birthday but traveling wasn't really for him he preferred to remain in the country.
"So-so y-you?" he asked.
"What?" I asked not understanding what he meant.
"Hav-have you ever traveled?" a look of nostalgia took over my features at his question. Had I traveled of course I said I probably went to more countries than he had ever imagined.
But I wasn't about to tell him that "No-" a bucket of water was poured in front of me, the guy I was talking to moved away immediately in shock.
"Clean" was all Easton said as he made his way back to the office.
"What was that for?" I gritted out "And you clean it you're the one who caused the mess"
"Last time I checked I wasn't the hired help and stop talking it's very annoying" closing the door to his office Easton was out of sight.
"A-Are you ok-"
"As okay as the word" I said as I took the mop and began cleaning. Nodding he also tried to help but I refused.
But we doing clean inside and still continue to talk much to the chagrin of Easton.
After we were done for the day I stepped out Easton still had to stay since he was the one closing the shop. The thought alone brought a smile on my lips.
A driver came to pick the boy up and as he was about to close the door a question appeared in my head.
"Hey I didn't get your name?!"
"Remy"he replied as he closed his car door.
Remy not a bad name.
