Chapter 138 - Hargrove

Meliora is standing by the courtyard gate, anxiously awaiting the return of her classmates, until at last she spots them, and her face lights up when she sees Kaito, Yulia and Cute approaching. The joy in her eyes is evident, especially when Cute approaches her, his huge paws moving carefully so as not to hurt little Hólis. The creature immediately bends down to receive affection from little Meliora. Its huge head tilts towards Hólis, and its front paws extend to accommodate her diminutive size. 

Meliora laughs as she strokes the beast's snout. "You're so big, Cute! I think you've grown since the last time I saw you!" Meliora says affectionately.

Kaito watches the scene with a warm smile. Seeing the bond between Meliora and Cute is rather touching, which finally makes you think that Meliora has always been used to living in Crimson Castle and only left it when the previous owner died.
