Ning Chengli astonishingly glanced at his daughter as she told him how she decided not to marry Wangjie.
"Are you serious? I think you liked him," Ning Chengli inquired with a curious gaze.
"Father, he doesn't respect the people at all. And he demeans women. Initially, I thought he was the perfect man for me and I could change his thoughts. However, I believe he is not worthy of me," Ning Hua pronounced.
Ning Chengli didn't know what exactly happened between those two, but he supported his daughter's decision. "Well, if it is your decision, then I will not have to say anything on this," he affirmed.
"Father, tomorrow you have an important match with the Crown Prince. I know you will win," Ning Hua said with a bright smile.
"I hope so," Ning Chengli stated.
"Is Father not confident of winning this challenge?" Ning Hua queried.
