We Never Loved Each Other!

Christine's POV

Valerie thinks so highly of herself that even when I tried to act superior. She went ahead to tell me to my face that I couldn't do anything and that only angered me and to me, it was like a shot to my ego. I had to notify her that I can do something if it pleases me.

The minute I drove out of my compound I placed my foot hard on the brake panel of my car and ceased its movement then placed my forehead on my steering wheel. Just this morning we were super cool and the next minute we're fighting for who's right and who's not.

A part of me wants to go back in time and forget everything the investigator told me and let nature take its flow, but that can only be a mere wish and nothing more. I took my phone and dialed the security number, and almost immediately he picked the call.
