Chapter 112 – The history of Sabrina, Robin, and Zayla

"I'm sorry for…" He was about to apologize when Matilda cut him off.

"No, please don't apologize. I just thought I'd never hear those words from you." 

Her voice was teary, and she clung to him as if her world was dependent on it. Devin was now the confused one.

"I don't get it," he said honestly. Matilda was about to confess but wondered when he began to feel this way about her.

"How long have you kept this in your heart?" She asked curiously, breaking from the hug and leaning back in her seat. 

Devin wanted to pull her closer, but he had not gotten her response and felt it was wrong to just do as he felt. He began to recall the past with a thin smile,

"Ever since I saw you with Sabrina the first time. She had kicked Zayla out of her life after seeing her with Robin, right after confessing how much she loved Robin to Zayla and telling Zayla that Robin was sick and she wanted to save him."
