Devin could not lie to his father and ended up confessing. Cobby had a little smile in the corner of his lips, remembering how Devin never introduced any woman to him before.
Perhaps his overprotectiveness of his sisters was causing him to lose focus on his life since he was not growing any younger.
"Why haven't you told her?" Cobby asked seriously, Devin lowered his head with a sad smile,
"Because of a personal principle I have, to not date my sister's best friend or anyone close to her."
Cobby found his reason weird and could not support it either. "That must be a very stupid philosophy."
It was not in him to involve himself in his children's relationships but he has learned lessons over the years and was now rich with a lot of experience. What would his role be as a father if he did not impact the experience?
